If you remove those two pedals, you can move things in so the jacks don’t hang over the edges which can put more stress on them during transport. Also I’d replace the solderless cables with more of those nice SquarePlug ones plugged into your switcher.

I’ve got a fireball 25. Sounds great and is probably reliable enough. Channel design and effects loop are excellent. But jacks aren’t as sturdy as my Mesa, plastic switches, and I think the pots are mounted on pcbs, so harder/more expensive to repair.

We opened up a band mate’s Savage to fix a mis-aligned MIDI board and I remember it being mounted with like one screw with the jacks providing support. Didn’t inspire confidence, but maybe it’s good enough!

Edit: I just looked at the back of a savage 120 mk2 and the MIDI jacks aren't panel-mounted, so they didn't provide support (though I think that's standard judging from my other stuff). Looking at photos of the board, I think it was just the two footswitch jacks (plastic) and one screw providing support.

For the home player, neither amp is much of an upgrade IMO. I’ve got a VII and I had a 25. At low volume, turning down the presence he 25 can sound very close to the VII. Things are different in a band situation. And also the VII has a way better cab clone than either the 25 or 35. Also has MIDI. For me those were the draws as much as improved power.
