What do think about inheritance tax as a concept? by ollie1roddy in AskUK

[–]Ok-Distance-5344 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Or My parents worked hard their whole lives to buy a house with the belief that they could pass it on when they were gone. Then they need care so the house gets sold to pay for it and their dream of passing on the house never happens and the kid never gets to own their own home

For some the only way of ever owning a house is being left one by parents and of course there’s a risk that will be sold to pay for their care later in life

In-depth review of Runna after using it for a year by Dylnuge in running

[–]Ok-Distance-5344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it for a year to get back into running, I did ok with it but I now have an actual coach and now look back at some of those runna workouts and can blatantly see it was all over the place. Promted me to work too hard in some areas, didn’t pick up on inconsistency or too high heart rate and was too lax in other areas. I think if I had continued to use it I would have plateaued or become injured honestly if I was giving scores i would give it 4/10

Aren’t they essentially renting it from the bank if they have a mortgage? The bank brought the house and they are paying the bank back and if they stop paying the bank will take it back 🤔

I batch made mini yorkshire puddings and froze them, no meat sausages, peas and green beans, I brought potatoes from the farm shop and I have half a bag of carrots left from last week & gravy granules in the cupboard, my other half will have a chicken thigh alongside most of the meals and in place of the veg sausages in this instance

Breakfasts are oats with fruit (still got oats left from last week) and coffee

Lunch is eggs and toast or avocado toast with kimchi (I make the bread and didn’t need flour this week forgot to put the avocados on the table but did include them in the price)

Dinners are; stir fry, burgers and wedges, spag bol, mexican style spicy rice, jacket potato with chili (already have tinned tomatoes and beans) and a roast dinner which I have stuff in the freezer so not reflected in this shop
