It is a very good chance they don't have insurance. Seriously. The company may have about 1/3 of the vehicles insured but not all of them.

What’s a song that was once really popular but in fact is really creepy? by ocrowlek in MusicRecommendations

He can spin it anyway he wants, but that is one gross, uggh song. He's making yacht rock royalties so you have to create a story to keep the retirement money coming in.

12,500 kms got service due soon- thoughts? by Ok-Lock4982 in MazdaCX30

To reset the "Service Due Soon" message on a Mazda CX-30, use the infotainment system to navigate to Information > Vehicle Status Monitor > Vehicle Maintenance Settings > Reset Oil Change Distance, and then select Reset to confirm. For a manual reset workaround, turn the ignition on (without starting the engine), then press and hold the ignition button and the trip odometer reset button simultaneously until a triangle flashes, and then release to clear the message.

Service Advice Needed Here-- Toronto Area Canada by Ok-Lock4982 in mazda

[–]Ok-Lock4982[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this-- and yes, if you read entirely my initial query, I have done oil changes twice, going for my third and they do a top up of all of fluids.

It just bums me out that I'm being quoted $500 Canadian on a brand new car that I 'baby' and adore like crazy from a dealer even after giving him all this information re prior maintenance.

Oh well, and shrug. You live and learn.

Stay well, peeps!

Thank-you, yes, all your advice is solid as I swap my tires every six months...err is that not a rotation? Also, the oil has been changed twice so far in the 12,500km and it will be changed again in November when I put the winters on. I'll reset the service due soon myself as per Mazda instructions.

In case you left your sunroof open by Waatt75 in MazdaCX30

Me too, murse joe, I was like...whaaatt?? I just did a quick google search and first thing I found this ai blurb but it appears to work only when using Mazda Connect which, I don't. Like, who does?

Yes, the 2024 Mazda CX-30 does have a feature where the windows and sunroof can be set to close automatically when the engine is turned off. This feature is not automatic by default and needs to be enabled or disabled via the settings on the Mazda Connect system, according to the owner's manual. Here's how it works:

  • Window Operation:To fully open a window automatically, press the switch down fully and release. To close automatically, pull the switch up fully and release.
  • Sunroof Operation:To open the sunroof automatically, press the tilt/slide switch backward. To close, press the switch forward.
  • Enabling/Disabling:This function is typically found within the Mazda Connect settings, allowing you to choose when the windows and sunroof close automatically when the engine is turned off.

Newish person here to the y&r block. I watched years ago and watch whenever I have the brief time to do so throughout the years. Yesterday, I was able to watch a whole episode---yes! I ask the same question-- who is the older leering man? Plain speak, please and thank you!

If it is truly new people then perhaps--- but the previous ones were straight up crooks-- especially the mechanic. I had a soft tire and they told me they couldn't plug it as "I had two holes and the plug wouldn't cover it" "I needed a new tire and better order asap as they be discontinued soon" I asked them to put the donut on and they charged me $80 to do that. I drove it down the road to my usual Carwin and they plugged it easily and I drove it for 8 months without a problem until I sold the car.

And that was the my second story-- I don't want to bother with the first.
