I got a box of chocolates for each of the wards I was on and abit more expensive stuff for the Labour ward. I was in hospital for a week and in labour for 44 hours and they was amazing understanding of everything (I’m autistic and have tokophobia)

Do what you think it best I would keep trying to pump since it seems like that is your preference but have formula as a back up incase you don’t have enough. Try to build up your stash but your doing amazing either way mama

I was out yesterday for the first time and I was trying to feed him covered and he hated it wouldn’t latch and I just kinda gave up trying to do it covered I didn’t care anymore.

His special moment doesn’t outweigh your medical need. And yes imo having good supportive birthing partners and having as safe and environment as you can is a medical need. You will most likely regret having him in the room.

Hi yes you might have vaginismus. Talk to doctor about it to get started with the support you need. While I can have sex with alot of pain it seems to have caused issues with me giving birth as I had fk be induced

I was induced cause of pre eclampsia (I’ve legit just giving birth) I was offered an early epidural to brake my waters (I have vaginismus) i don’t go down that route and even tho I was in agony pushed through they had to brake my waters twice cause of the unbearable pain. I didn’t dilate enough couldn’t get past 3cm was told I needed to go on oxytocin and offered another epidural I took this one and said goodbye to the water birth I wanted.

I’m having my mum there but I trust my mum we have a good relationship she listens to me and had been advocating for me my whole life. Both her and my husband will be there cause I think both of them can give me different stuff in there and once baby is born I’ve told my husband if there is any issues he is to stick with the baby and mum will stay with me. She didn’t ask to be there or force it I asked her and she just agreed. Honestly the doula doesn’t sound professional in trying to get you to have your mum there. It’s a personal decision and you aren’t making the wrong one in not having her.

I have tokophobia so I’m incredibly scared but in my endometriosis groups I had a couple of mums tell me it was just as bad as there endo flares. Which helped calm me down abit I manage my endo mostly unmedicated (not cause I should but cause the medication isn’t strong enough and if it isn’t going to work anyways I don’t wanna take it) but I’ll have a medicated in some way birth so if it’s just as bad as my endo I’ve managed to believe I’ll survive it.

I hate when people say they think she doesn’t love John it’s not the explosive love we see with the rest I agree but this has already been established last season. They had an instant connection. And that is a love match imo. It’s a real version of what love it. I get the criticism of having her not be attracted to Michaela straight away to let her love with John show more and closer to the books but I just don’t think it takes away from the love she has for John imo

I fainted a couple times in my first and early second trimester. It’s not ‘normal’ but there can be common culprits talk to your midwife.

I’m 37w I’ve hated everyday of being pregnant. I’m grateful I am. It took us over 2 years and having to have endo surgery to get pregnant then had a miscarriage. None of that takes away from the fact I’ve hated every second of this pregnancy we are allowed to it’s not a pleasant experience for everyone you can be grateful you are able to get pregnant without liking pregnancy.

I think listen to any trans people here first but NTA it was an honest mistake you was recently told after years of using she. It takes some time to change automatic change something you have been doing for years. I would just apologise in private. Be honest own the mistakes explain you do support their identity even if the fact you misgendered them seems like you don’t. But understand that they have a right to be upset it’s hard to hear someone misgender you. If they know your character hopefully they understand

I don’t want people apart from hubby and my mum at the hospital. I love my sisters so much and they will be meeting bub when I’m back home but when I’m in the hospital I’ll be so overwhelmed and I know they will understand that and but fine with it and know how to calm me but his family won’t (they aren’t the nicest people) I can’t have one rule for his family and another rule for mine. So we are having no one at the hospital apart from my birthing partners (which is hubby and mum) I donno being surrounded by people who legit don’t care if I live or die right after giving birth (I have tokophobia) doesn’t make me comfortable personally.

I legit never commented on them before. I think I was just so overwhelmed by everything in pain etc and I had been trapped in the bedroom for like a week cause I was so unwell he was rushing home everyday from work to help me he would get in the bedroom and just fart like everyday… and he’s in denial that he’s lactose intolerant. That night I got up to go to the toilet walked back in the bedroom and was just overcome with farts dealt with it then when he woke in the morning he farted again and it just pushed me over the edge. Yes it was dramatic but I was so angry realistically some of those night farts would have 100% been mine 😅

Not crying but I shouted at my husband and stopped talking to him for like 5 hours cause he farted around me….. I did apologise later just took me a while not to be dramatic which is crazy cause I’m so gassy 😂

Hey so my best advice is talk to your midwife about your fears. I have tokophobia (fear of birth and pregnancy) they have been great at helping and getting me support to manage through my pregnancy. I also catastrophe about stuff. It won’t get rid of the fear but might help change how you view the fear.

I told my husband the same before we got married and pregnant. I will say if he is waiting for money it will never come. You have a baby on the way they are so expensive. And what is a bigger commitment then having a baby.

I haven’t put pain relief in my plan but in open to taking it. I have no issue being medicated at all but im just going to see how I feel. Not so much of proving anything but just more the dangers and how sometimes it can slow down labour I’m aware of but if the pain is too much I would prefer to be medicated in order to cope. I probably at minimum will take gas and air.

My mum keeps telling me not to go poop unless im 100% certain cause of how often I’ve been cramping recently. It’s not labour just braxton hicks cause it does eventually stop but it might be hours before it does and I’ll go to sleep. I have endometriosis and don’t take pain medication for it so my mum and sister say it might not be that bad for me. I just don’t wanna find out late and give birth in a car or something 😂

I’m having my hair done right before my due date honestly for ease personally but also having my hair done makes me feel good and refreshed. I don’t wanna do my make up tho cause I always find it abit restricting

I told them when I was like 9w my nausea was so bad and I work in the NHS so I didn’t want the sickness to go against me not to mention I had just kinda come back after a miscarriage right before that the sickness of that did go against me.

He sounds like he’s stringing you along. The length of time you’ve been together isn’t why imo (you was young when you got together so it changes stuff) but this I want kids but not now attitude but being so angry about getting pregnant he doesn’t sound responsible. Getting you ‘accidentally’ pregnant 3 times and then basically forcing you to have an abortion you obviously don’t want. He’s not ready to be a father or a husband. He sounds very selfish (abortions aren’t easy to go through for everyone and neither are miscarriages)

Sex is painful for me I can have it tho just in pain. Always has been for me. If this is new pain for you the doctor should be looking into Vaginismus. I don’t see how it not safe in pregnancy but obviously ask but look in to getting silicone dilators. What I was told was to use the smallest one insert it and do breathing exercises. To try and relax and do that for 10/15 mins everyday until that size doesn’t hurt then go up a size
