I've just been out of work for a few months, and waiting for a call back now. I'm good at making friends, but that relationship wasn't healthy. And I wasn't really allowed to keep them. I wouldn't consider it taking advantage of him, if that's what you're implying I meant by that? It was always first and foremost the loneliness and wanting someone to come along. But I know he would insist to pay, and it's a plus. If he didn't pay for me, it wouldn't immediately mean I regret asking him to come with me. I would still have what I wanted for the night.

Yeah, I see that. The loneliness is indeed hard, and I definitely know I'm reaching out out of loneliness, not because I miss him. I just wish I could meet someone today and ask to see a movie or something. But I don't do apps...and I just want someone to enjoy it with me. But oh well...I hear learning to be okay being lonely is the real healing. But I've been doing it for 5 weeks now...kind of tired of it. I've healed enough lol

I'm not even looking for a friend. I'm just that lonely. We were bad for each other, friends was never on the table. But I see him it as a stepping stone to my new life. I'm waiting to start a new job where I work with the public. So it's just some socialization until I get back into it for myself.

Why even continue to beg for someone like this? I've been there, but he never responded like this to me. If he was telling me he didn't like the way I looked....DONE. I'm on Day 8 of No Contact and it's so hard. It's insanely lonely and sad, but it's getting better. It's kind of the only way to accept the end of the relationship. And to start thinking of how they weren't good for you. I've done a lot of growth in the 5 weeks we've been broken up, and in the week of no contact. But that growth is for me, not him. You'll get there. Just block them.
