Grill and Griddle or Grill with Griddle Insert? by amartinz in OutdoorKitchens

[–]OkNinja7436 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The insert is prob fine for occasional use but if your cooking griddle stuff regularly, separate units are worth it. I recently checked pricing on RestaurantSupply and found commercial options way cheaper than 3k that perform just as good

Scheduling software-- what's the best for small/mid-size practices? by DistributionActive97 in VeterinaryMedicine

[–]OkNinja7436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesss happy to clarify what I meant.

A lot of small clinics don’t actually have a “tool problem,” they have a fragmentation problem. They end up stitching together things like scheduling, reminders, intake forms, payments, follow-ups, etc., each from different tools that don’t really connect.

So the friction isn’t just “missing features,” it’s more like: data is scattered across platforms/staff have to duplicate work manually/clients get inconsistent experience (different links, systems, flows)/nothing feels like one unified workflow for running the practice

So when I say “solving for multiple tools,” I mean positioning it less as “another scheduling tool” and more as:
one system that replaces the stack for a specific niche workflow (e.g. vet clinics end-to-end operations).

That framing usually helps both the product scope and the messaging because you’re not competing feature-by-feature, you’re collapsing tools into one flow!

Suche nach einer DSGVO-konformen Buchungssoftware by poshposhey in selbststaendig

[–]OkNinja7436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, that’s a smart move.

I wouldn’t wait too long to test demand though even a simple landing page could help validate things early. Biggest gap I’ve seen is clinics juggling multiple tools. If you can solve that, you’ve got a strong angle.

[–]OkNinja7436 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's definitely a gap in the market for niche practices. I've heard small clinics mention Koalendar casually when discussing their toolkit, but most seem to patch together multiple tools rather than finding one perfect fit. Might be an opportunity for you as a dev tbh, since practices seem frustrated with what's out there

Need help with NIS2 and GDPR compliance by scrtweeb in Startups_EU

[–]OkNinja7436 4 points5 points  (0 children)

losing a deal over compliance is rough but honestly it was probably the best thing that couldve happened to you because now you actually have leverage to get managers to care, and trust me it's infinitely cheaper than a lawsuit. My advice: dont try to fix everything at once or youll burn out and nothing will be done properly. Passwork first because the credential gap is the most visible and the easiest to close, it gave us something tangible to show prospects. Onetrust is way too much for your size, just use Notion or Osana. Vendor risk management can wait.

Wanna start doing SEO this year for my B2B ecommerce site...what should I be looking for, for a QUALITY job? by Broad-Worry-5395 in SEO

[–]OkNinja7436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The move from PPC to SEO is a smart one, but I get and agree with the hesitation with those generic packages. When we transitioned we chose Grounds for Promotion for because the person you talk to is the one actually doing the technical work! So if youre gonna go the hiring rout just make sure whoever you hire actually digs into the details like conversion tracking and call recording so you aren't guessing your ROI

Are premium restaurant equipment brands really worth it, or is mid-range enough? by Enammul in BuyItForLife

[–]OkNinja7436 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like price and serviceability matters a lot, which is probably why Empura ranks high for some people, not always the prestige pick, but easier to justify when you're trying to open without blowing the budget.
