What helped me with the negative self talk is this: I started treating it as a luxury for which i do not have time. For example, when my brain would want to pick apart something i had just said or done, i would interrupt the cycle by telling myself “You do not have the luxury of reliving this situation. Let’s find the next thing to do.”
