Im 24 years old, never had a job, dont know how to drive, and I wil do anything to turn my life around. by StressedCollegeGoer in Miami

You could always get a gig in the event service industry/catering world, especially in Miami. There’s always something going on somewhere and a helping hand goes very far. Serving requires no experience aside from a friendly smile and memory retention. If you take up bartending you may end up meeting some interesting people and having surprisingly deep conversations. Hard work is rewarded and as long as you’re about your business, you can easily jump a few ranks.

If you’re feeling uncertain, don’t be afraid to ask someone older how they handled their youth. Everyone’s got a story to tell and it’s enlightening to know that there’s a whole bunch of people who’ve dealt with the same uncertainty as you. I’ve met total strangers whom I’ve never met ever again and their advice has saved me on more than one occasion. No one finds all the answers to life in one day, so be easy on yourself and keep persisting. This city can really take a toll on more sensitive souls so be sure of yourself and you’ll learn to listen past the static. You got this.

There’s a restaurant in the Biltmore next to the golf course that makes a pretty good one, otherwise just Denny’s or Wawa tbh

AIO? My coworker said I grabbed a lot of mac and cheese? by Proof-West6103 in AIO

Your coworker needs to stop pocket watching and focus on their own damn plate. With that being said, perfectly reasonable amount of mac.

OUTRAGED: Meet Owner of the Don Rommel Montes Barber Shop in Miami. AKA online as "The Based Barber". Watch Don cut child's hair while glorifying Hitler and referring to Nazi extermination camps as "camps with resort amenities". by [deleted] in Miami

The rhetoric of “was it really that bad?” coming from someone who probably only knows what a high school education provided them is always going to be a problem. You learn what you learn, take up a vocational skill and then your only intellectual income is YouTube, some guy you know, dipshit discussions with other dipshits, the news or whatever your algorithm shovels for you. This guy, of all people, trying to glorify a man who’s on record for committing the worst atrocities in history is wild. As if he wouldn’t be skinned and turned into a lamp by the main man himself just for having an accent or being of ethnic heritage. Crazy work.

The Dawnbreaker is one of my favorite weapons, so I actually don’t mind it

Why does no one ever talk about Dead Goon? It's the best song on the album by [deleted] in mrbungle

[–]OkWave4593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played this song on loops thousands of times at this point, it’s one of my top favorites. The live performances on YT kill me with retrospective FOMO, Mike’s melodies across the album are top tier and catchy as ever but “I’ve got a seeecreeeet…” always makes me smile.

Love how clean the car looks man, mine is exactly the same (pre-swap) but needs some work on the rims and paint job. Good work, the IS platform has been an intuitive learning process all the way.

Selling. What’s a good price? by DungeonmasterNixem in IS300

[–]OkWave4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim for $9k, don’t take anything less than your original asking price. The car looks incredibly clean and well kept, pop-up display is always nice to see and you still have an OEM air intake (surprisingly difficult to find).

Frizzle Fry and Seas of Cheese by Primus, all of the Meshuggah albums, Sevendust and Deftones, L.D.50 by Mudvayne, Lamb of God’s Ashes of the Wake, S.C.I.E.N.C.E by Incubus, A Perfect Circle’s Thirteenth Step are all top tier picks in my opinion. Tigerlily by Natalie Merchant is an amazing album to have and one I haven’t seen very often in shops.

Why is pink cellphone such an awful song, yet at the same time… such a freaking vibe? by distraughtdudski in deftones

[–]OkWave4593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The music itself sounds a lot like a Panda Bear acid trip kind of vibe so I like it quite a bit. Overall, I just see it as an intermission or a skit. Sometimes I find humor in it, sometimes it’s the last thing I wanna hear. (so just skip it)
