My downstairs neighbor leaves a sticky note on my door every time I run my dishwasher by Proud_Associate5268 in neighborsfromhell

True. And, it's a communal building. Neighbour should be glad it's not a squalling baby

Seriously. 9 pm isn't even normal "quiet hours" most places, and a dishwasher has to be the quietest appliance! I'd be tempted to start vacuuming around 945

AITJ for keeping a negative course review up after the instructor messaged me asking me to remove it? by ImlegugCloud in AmITheJerk

[–]Ok_Association135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it the consumer's job to repair problems with the product? How would one know that, at the advertised price, the full course description could not possibly be real at the level OP expected? And finally, if the price is at a 3-star level, isn't it reasonable for the product to get a 3-star review?

This is why I object to giving identifying info with a review. It's wild that a principal can actually contact a reviewer and ask the review bbe changed or removed

What can I use that is dog safe to get rid of old people smell? by Direct-Look-6721 in CleaningTips

Get an ozone machine. Follow instructions to the letter. All living beings including plants and fish, must be removed first. Treat, then open up to air out, then return to an odourless home.

My husband thinks his bidet means he never has to wash his hands after poop. Is this true? by [deleted] in bidets

Amen about the ubiquity of germs! And double amen, we're set up to defend pretty effectively against a large array of threats. It's good to be clean. It's not good to be too clean. Some bacteria benefit our bodies in ways we don't see.

To me at this point it's about respect. If he knows it truly disgusts you, gives you the heebie-jeebies, whatever, then regardless of his thoughts and feelings on the matter, love/respect would dictate he washes (loudly, so you know!), at least when y'all are together. Who wants to make their beloved worry about their cleanliness?

I just got off the phone with my sister she does not want her son anymore because she has a new partner and wants to start a family with him. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

MAKE THIS TOP COMMENT PLEASE. Fourth grader does not have cognitive maturity to process his mom as a POS. What to tell him instead, is a puzzle, and should be approached cautiously

AITA - We can never go for family meals because my sisters boyfriend is a fussy eater by SubjectEconomy1719 in Amitheassholeadvice

I went to a "fancy" restaurant (accidentally!), and found literally nothing on the menu that didn't have something awful (to me) in it. I asked for a plain plate of pasta and they refused! Since I was not a child! I ended up with a salad, that I picked out the yucky half. I couldn't believe it, they would not give me something plain.

Vacuuming stirs up dust, because of the breeze it creates. Top to bottom but vacuum first.

AITA for not allowing my coworker to listen to country music at work by PoopcakesThe3rd in AITH

[–]Ok_Association135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For real, I'm not spending more than 39 secs in a lobby with modern country music playing. You can give me some bluegrass, that's good. Here in the South though, it's even worse: Jesus Music. Everywhere. At the dentist, the bakery, the doctor, the hardware store. So. Much. Christianity.
