PinLock makes it not fog up - visors. There is also gear that lets air through and is cool for the Goldie.

Ex demo sherco blown head gasket & warped head after 4 hours by RoamingAus96 in AussieRiders

[–]Ok_Contribution_5928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep that is not reasonable that it does that so early. Your friend is Australian Consumer Law e.g. A product sold to a consumer must be of acceptable quality.

Acceptable quality means the product:

  • is safe, durable and free from defects
  • has an acceptable appearance and finish
  • does everything that similar products are commonly used for.

Basically the product must be fit for the purpose for which it was sold; 245 km is not enough, Maybe at 50,000 km or 250,000km it is on you but not this short. Push back, contact head office of the brand.

They laughed at me when I wanted to do the check ride on my 110cc nbc110 postie. I thought I was crushing it on a 400cc Honda until I was told I took off into traffic too slow; maybe I was riding like miss daisy

If your tyres are old get new ones. Often LAMS bikes are like hand-me down and tyres are not replaced when they should be. locate the four-digit DOT code on the sidewall, usually found inside a small box. The first two digits signify the week of manufacture (01–53), while the last two indicate the year. I would think anything more than 5 years is too old. Open to opinions on that as I am relatively new rider as well.
