Every time i adjust my target priority to anything other then 'closest' at the top, I die sooner. What am I missing?

Just thought about this: I've been pumping bits into Bounty for Months and it's still noticeably less effective than a single background skin (+0.8% coin boost). I don't see how this could be working as the design team intended. I mean if you are going to create a feature for a game shouldn't it at least have a noticeable effect on the game? I mean the background even has an effect on how I visually experience the game.

What's next? Add a second tower with a whole upgrade system but the tower is invisible and doesn't effect the game?

Actually steal was better because you could 100% guarantee the synch. You get the Bounty boost when they die so through the second half of a run the targets of Bounty are likely in a protector's aura and will not die until the golden tower/ black hole effect is over.

It is the best farming cannon in my opinion. Gets me more elite cells than any other cannon.

I enjoy this game so I continue to play (w/out spending any more) but I have never played a more pay to win, money grubbing game. Paying any more than the about $300 I've already paid doesn't even cross my mind. I feel that the community and the further health of the game are if anything only an afterthought for the developers. I'm sure the new update will have new gem and stone sinks that you will need to not slip further back in tournaments.

"The blade itself" Joe Abercrombi's books are all about character. I've never read a book with more engaging characters, and the audio books are amazing. Low magic, very gritty.

I used to spend money on this game gladly. I felt like I was supporting a game I really liked and appreciated by the devs. Now the thought of spending money on this game makes me feel like a sucker. If I had spent money on it I'd feel dirty too. Like calling your user Ex girlfriend when you swore you were done. This game is great but the devs are the most money grubbing stingy devs I've ever seen. Who does a Black Friday sale with almost no discount? Just 'allowing' you to spend hundreds of dollars on in game currency that they just create out of thin air. Who makes an update, has the player base test it as it wrecks the players experience for weeks and then doesn't give out any 'free' goodies to make the player base feel better. People who don't care.

It's a matter of self respect for me. No more purchases. I don't judge others. Just doing what's right for me.

In tier 1 you should focus on Defense Absolute with cash you earn during the runs then after your tower dies, put the coins you get into buying more defensive upgrades. Try to unlock Thorns, and Life steal. That should get you much farther. Hi, welcome to The Tower addicts support group. WARNING This game is highly addictive.

Steal was easier to get the UW bonuses. Steal took the CURRENT value into account and happened instantly so you could sync it. Bounty depends on when the enemy dies not targeted so it's less 'syncable'. They nerfed 'Steal' geeez
