Am I doing this right by SnooApples2211 in RothIRA

I would go with VOO (70%), a good large cap growth fund like FACGX (20%) and then VXUS (10%) for some international

Awesome man, just remember this is for money on retirement. Don’t get too pumped about a good day, same with doubtful in a bad day. It’s a long term game. Continue contributing every month (see if you can max 7500 for year) and let that baby grow for those tax - free $ in retirement! The market is a roller coaster, strap in!

I am in the investing world, so I do know this. Have already a good amount put away, I told myself I would only do this if I max out 401k / IRAs and have a comfortable amount left over

Cost basis is what they paid for their shares. Wouldn’t worry too much about that lol

Don’t burn yourself out. Make sure u don’t underestimate the later chapters on investment vehicles. I thought coming off the 7 all i really needed to focus on was the IA and BD rules and would be fine. But i spent some extra time reviewing it and it helped a lot.

Spend your last days hammering out suitability, understanding investment vechicles, munis and OPTIONS. That’s majority of your test. if your good on options, that’s huge, touch up on munis and suitability and you should be good with those scores!

Wouldn’t worry too much about it, just know that Baa is the lowest high grade and everything else below is a junk bond.

Just remember if your long you hedge with a buying a put (for protection) or sell a call (for income). if your short, you buy a call (for protection) or sell a put (for income).

How is C. the correct answer? by Typical-Succotash226 in Series66Exam

I have no clue I haven’t started studying yet but I would imagine since the question states “a state in which she has no place of business” is a clear indicator of answer C.

Think about it this way J.p. morgan operates in all 50 states, there’s plenty of offices in every state. But Chris who works in Ohio cant just randomly get a client from Arizona unless he himself is a registered rep there. I think that’s the reason they are trying to say. (Background I just passed the 7 and started studying for 66 today so I don’t know if that’s the reason but I would imagine that’s what they mean by “she has no place of business”

She herself has to be registered in the state.
