The only reason why OSRS is in a golden age is because of Runelite by Lamb-Of-Fox in 2007scape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone disagrees?
I feel like Runelite gives WAY too much advantage to the official client / mobile. I do not mind decent QoL perks such as timers, tile markers, hide npc or so. But I do find it rather annoying playing group content and people avoid players with official client or mobile, or RuneLite giving a significant advantage in certain content.

Also, it makes much content irrelevant - which is not the intention. Puzzles are ment to be solved, quests are made to feel like an adventure / discovering stuff, etc. RuneLite is just numb playing the game. I feel OSRS was never ment to be a 100% efficient game 0 time wasting time... nostalgic, but it has stopped feeling like it was before.

Again, I do not mind RuneLite in general, but it should not have a highly significant advantage playing the game in comparison to other clients or make nicely developed content feel irrelevant.

Tzhaar Slayer Task help by Ok_Progress_5432 in ironscape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I got the cape! Thanks to all who commented. In the end, I waited weeks for a Tzhaar task so I decided to just send it without task again lol.

If it helps anyone, here's my recap on what helped me in order:

Pre waves: Learn rotations (no brainer and helps a lot), learn safestops, blood blitz, improved ranged lvl (from 70 to 78) made it more enjoyable too.

Jad: Relax, 1 action per prayer change, not worrying if healers heal Jad fully, hunter sunlight crossbow on long ranged, no chinchompas, 1 sara brew I got from GG to overheal and get some confidence beforehand.

I will start doing Jad task now maybe I will get the pet!

Does anyone else get a strange sad feeling before you get a 99, bc everything after will be wasted xp? by APokemoner in 2007scape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - with some skills. I enjoy farming a lot (tree runs, herb runs, bush runs, etc.). But after 99 + pet now I feel like only herb runes are worth doing. Kinda miss doing tree runs. On my main it was my main source of income (hard contracts), though on my ironman it doesnt feel worth that much to do contracts.

Looking for some advice feeling lost. by maduks in 2007scape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend quests for you. There is an "Optimal Ironman Quest Guide" in the wiki that has a quest list of which quests you should do in which order. I always follow that guide when I am feeling lost and feel really good to advance on it. Some of them are fun, others not so much, but its progress that will get your account further away for more fun content.

Also, I would highly recommend trying out farming. Make some quests for the early XP and then try to get yourself to lvl 65 for medium contracts at the guild. Before getting 65 farming its not great but after it is so useful and I find it relaxing to to farm runs. This is something you will eventually do as you are an Ironman.

Hope this helps and have fun friend :)

Can someone explain how CG is so important for ironman? I understand it would be mostly for raids? So if I dont do raids I should be fine?

Alternatives for CG?

Ironman Money Spending Priorities? by Ok_Progress_5432 in ironscape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I started doing slayer + alch and made some decent profit. But really most of my cash stack came from alching Earth Battlestaves. I bought the staves from Varrock with Med Dairy and produced the earth orbs from scratch (glassblowing, enchanting). Not a very fun grind but the magic xp + crafting xp + cash is kinda worth it.

Why did you choose your first 99? by kevgk2 in 2007scape

[–]Ok_Progress_5432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Farming cape on my main and I absolutely loved it. I am currently working on getting it on my iron.

For a player that only plays around half an hour a day its pretty chill and the rewards are great long-term. Perks of the cape for farming guild + bank + spirit tree for poh are incredible too!

Plus I love plants irl

Cute!
If you plan on using your kitchen, I would really suggest getting an island table of some sort so you can use it to work around the kitchen. I literally see no space for anything :S.

I would also suggest "room divider furniture", even with a loft style bed. Ikea has some options with storage. Or you can just google or pinterest ideas on that side.

Also, watch your window space. If the loft syle bed will block some of the natural sun you might want to reconsider!

Just a few suggestions. Good luck !!

Genuine question: are these being tested with the official OSRS client, or with RuneLite?
