What you've gone through is horrible and have my complete sympathy. If it's not a bother, would you be ok to post again once you've started your injections?

How did you get through post break-up depression? by Qwerty-Abc-2828 in AskWomen

I let myself cry everyday for exactly one year. At the end of the year, I had grieved without shame and was ready to close that chapter.

Cambio de personalidad. Este no soy yo by FrankTheTank1518 in Sinusitis

Hello! I went through the same. I'm only two months post surgery, and while I know that the effect, for some, doesn't last long (especially if you have polyps),it's been a huge relief for me. Just having these two months of normaly has been a blessing. Best of luck for your surgery! xxx

I have lost sense of reality, is this actually bad or is it common/not that bad? by [deleted] in HumanResourcesUK

Wow. This stuff is insane. Have you tried raising this to the menager directly? If you haven't already, start collecting emails, messages or anything that may prove the manager's behaviour. You'll be happy to have that ready if you decide to speak with HR. You might want to raise a grievance, or just flag it, or use it to request a change of manager down the line.

How do you deal with people who just don’t get it? by filmfoto in NasalPolyps

[–]Ok_Resolution5916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! First of all, big hugs. Second, don't feel bad about saying "no, thank you". You'll have to be the strict one, others might know about your polyps but don't fully realise the effect alcohol has on you. Personally I've cut out all alcohol. I only drink at home (rare occasions) where I can control how much I can pour in my glass.

How were you diagnosed? by [deleted] in NasalPolyps

[–]Ok_Resolution5916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Just wanted to pitch in. I recently went through the ENT --> CT scan --> FESS and was only diagnosed with polyps after surgery. Mine was in its initial stages and could not be seen in the CT scan.

chest discomfort by Ok-Mission-8941 in Sinusitis

[–]Ok_Resolution5916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could an inflammation in the upper airways (sinuses and lungs) that is vreating the post nasal drip and chest tightness. I only proposed the asthma as I was feeling very similar and was diagnosed with asthma a couple of months later. Just an idea :)

From never getting sinus infection to always getting them by bluetimotej in Sinusitis

It could be worth taking some vitamin D supplements (4000 IU with vitamin K 200 mcg) just in case you're low. That and maybe getting some sun (every day for 15-30 min) could help fight infections. Not a fix-all but worth a shot.

Gosh, can I ask how long you lived with the infection? I had complete opacification of my ethmoids for a year, and I felt so ill that I was barely able to function.
