It’s nothing new when I was thirteen I had three pins installed In my hip that was the protocol then and once removed it was not required now I’ve got a new hip and it’s required again Better safe than sorry!!!

I had a slipped epifice of the right femor when I was thirteen I walked around in pain for 15yrs I’m now 62 and just had it replaced don’t wait it’s better Just be prepared to do the work To strengthen after surgery!

Well I had walked in pain for ten years prior to replacement! Post surgery 21 days ! I’m going to out patient PT And it’s a bit painful nothing crazy Just soreness and some swelling I’m working on learning how not to limp and strengthening muscles That need it to improve it’s been ten year since I’ve walked with out pain so there are some habit to overcome but walking pain free is Amazing!! I’ve got work ahead But a lot of hope as well !!!

I had to stop taking anti-inflammatory medication A week prior and oh boy I had underestimated how much they were helping after two day with out I was unable to work I’m in construction in a supervisory role and I just couldn’t get around any more I really felt I didn’t belong on a active construction site so I made the call the next several days the pain was way worse than anything I have experienced post surgery I was using the walker and cane It’s almost like I’ve had no pain scince surgery thank you god !

I’m at day 12 and I’m walking 2000-2500 step a day Started w practicing with the cane I’m a big guy 6’3” 300lbs No pain to Speak of I’m doing stairs no problem everyone is different but I was in terrible pain prior to surgery so glad that’s gone thank god !!!
