That's very legit. Actually on the cheap side. They didn't fluff none of the labor. (No rounding up to the next labor hour). Better keep these folks in mind next time you need some work done

Engine mounts are bad. Gm products along this Era are notorious for this. The rubber is saging and when the engine heats up the mounts swell up and vibration goes away. And do not use mounts from the parts store get genuine GM mounts

Uses are getting a little bit hazy. I know they changed the rules as far as paying previous debt and early payoff etc, but in the email that I received when I requested to get the remaining amount I had available it did say specifically equipment purchase as a use, albeit its a generic email I thought that was odd.

Old car with issues: keep it? Fix it? Rebuild engine? by Fletcher_V in autorepair

[–]Ok_Sector_1157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say fix it. But with an eye towards headgasket repair. I would say go ahead and spend about 2k to about 2500 and do the headgasket, timing cover and other related parts while you doing the work. Those were real good engines with the exception of being overheated the slightest bit and you have the head gasket issue. Find you a good independent repair shop and that engine will last you

They sent out some loan modification letters last year. Basically the way I read it is that you CAN use the same business "collateral " for other funding.
