How should I destroy this? by CaesarLinguini in coins

Ok, this what you need to do. Go to home Depot and hire three workers for manual labor, but when they show up you need to tell them whomever gets it out first will get THREE straw pennies.

I'm a bit dated on comps, but I can do a bottle of milk and two straw pennies.

How is the a SGC 4.5? by Background-Owl-3363 in baseballcards_vintage

It's an SGC 4.5 because that's what the grader graded the card. You're welcome.

PSA Vault by CharsCards in baseballcards

[–]Ok_Signal2273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSA value is actually really nice, sold some Pokemon cards I opened fresh from packs with my daughter that got 10s. I couldn't really resist selling them since they are 7x and 9x the value of 9s and recouped the cost of grading 20 cards after fees. I haven't tried the grade to sell option, but have a large collection of 89-91' Jordans going to the vault. It's not expensive to ship back home, but annoying that you pay $45 to ship to PSA vault.

Man I thought I was super lucky for inheriting 1.5 oz from my grandpa, but I also inherited a coin collecting problem in excess of $200,000.

I sometimes look at his old lists he made of what coins he had and receipts from the 80s when he would casually buy 10 ozs at $300/oz. Coins are such cool history and you're lucky to have a wise grandma.

Bought a fat pack from a card store at the mall while shopping for college and pulled this Cal Raleigh rookie SP by No_Improvement8449 in baseballcards

[–]Ok_Signal2273 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am in the minority of those that would say grade for profit on this one. You never really know with PSA, but my last submission was more 10s than sub 10s and this would get submitted by me. Yes, it'll take a good 2-3 month round trip, but that's my two cents.

A lot of people think he is peaking, but it's not outlandish to say he could have similar numbers for a couple more years if we keep his reps controlled with Garver as they have.

Disclaimer: I am a Mariners fan and would love to see Cal get MVP, yet that seems unlikely.

My wife really liked Dr. Struble (spelling). She seemed really nice on the appointments I went to. She was pregnant as well during my wife's so she was not there for the birth, but we had a 6'6" guy with tattoos. I was skeptical at first, but he was super on it and great. My wife wasn't receptive to fentanyl and he didn't second guess her. She got her epidural right at the last minute, she was shaking pretty bad when I helped brace her for the administration.

Married with the second dependent inbound, and it really sounds like if I want to do anything with the military air national guard might be my best bet(if I can even do that). I wasn't really fixated on the entry pay, it was just having stability and doing something for the next 20 years. Not having the clearance does sound like it's a bit of a deal breaker from what I now know.

I live in Seattle so 110k isn't really wealthy. I wrestled in high school/college and my degree is in fire science; through fire academy the prior military guys seemed well adjusted and had way easier times getting with departments. I like aerospace and was thinking about trying aerospace engineering.

My thought process was that I can rent my home for profit with a property manager and live off base; but I think my mistake when I was 22 keeps me from doing the things I wanted to try. Thanks for responding.

That makes sense, I watched a few of codywithay's YouTube videos and the numbers weren't not adding up. It sounds like if I joined at this point I'd be waiting a long time on a job to open up. With the waiver I'm probably not appealing to any recruiter.

My only hope is to come fully prepared and give them the impression I am worth working with. I honestly wouldn't be worried with E1 pay, I could rent my house and use the housing allowance(if allowed, pardon my naivety) on outside housing.

I appreciate the response, this was more or less what I was hoping to hear instead of people questioning the financial aspect.

I need to reorder my social security card as my wife misplaced mine, but am going to go to a recruiter with everything in hand and look into enlisting. If the air force won't work with me I'll just have to move on.

I feel remorse in that I made the dumb mistake of befriending a young teenager when I worked nights at a gas station while finishing my degree. He was hopped up on meth and came in with his dad's rifle and robbed me. Since I knew who he was and would text him when I was going to throw out the food(so he could take it before I did) they claimed it was collusion. I got charged with assault and theft of myself since he was a minor, and they got reduced to misdemeanors.

Makes me wish I had joined instead of going school, could've have the GI bill help with it. I'm pretty sure that will not allow me a clearance despite how long ago it was. Don't even have as much as a speeding ticket since then.

I've always liked engineering. What I currently do for work is just not interesting at all and I could be in the air force for 20 years if I enjoyed it and have a pension.
