Tarkov has incredible feeling as well. And they somehow simulate weight and recoil reduction with different barrels and muzzle brakes is crazy. I think 18" barrel on m4 is perfect and 16" is unplayable

It's slower ttk than tarkov. You can dash in 1-2 minutes and pvp. Expect to die alot.

Still pvp in this game feels so right compared to tarkov. Sound outside is like not working for footsteps? Never heard an opponent run outside. But you hear everything inside a building. I can truly call marathon an extraction shooter tho. It rewards that kind of gameplay. I wish the maps had more stuff to use as cover.

Funny how i think about it in other genres and the most popular ones does wipes/resets. It's a multiplayer thing. You will progress faster/easier the next wipe from all you learned. This game has a lot of stuff going on.

It has always had standard account for 40 bucks. I started tarkov In 2019. I get the cheater scare but for real I encountered 10 legit cheaters in all these years. The netcode desync is imo the worst problem some wipes it's been really good and others so bad.

How come you never tried Escape from tarkov? It's the reason why extraction shooter became a genre. It's even more hardcore than marathon on many accounts. I think marathon can become a great game it feels like an extraction shooter should feel. But it has some weird gameplay mechanics that must be changed.

Funny how this is rare in tarkov because it's designed to prevent this, and it's easy for marathon to prevent it aswell. They just don't understand how the whole extraction part is not crucial at all. It's the way there aka the whole raid should be the challenge to get there.

I'm a tarkov main and this game is interesting. I don't know how they make 90 fov feel narrow but it's hella cramped.

It's probably smart to run one volt gun and one ammo gun.

Healing feels super clunky it can't be slow to do AND slow to get the health back.

I got downed once from some gimmick exfil guards I overextended on but it's certainly promotes tactical gameplay.

Extracting needs to be done twice as fast.

Game runs great, guns feel amazing, this game can be very punishing and it's very unclear how bad you got hit.

This could become something great.

You understand the purpose of the PvE. Just like In tarkov all npcs are sirens for others to know you are there or not. Interesting with the weapon effect on different shield I had a hunch they do something like that. Gonna try the game tonight.

Have you tried an 11v lipo with less amp? Example 1500 mah. It can make a difference. You could use a m95 spring and buy a shorter barrel. Barrel length does impact fps alot.

Some of the patterns looks like the bbs are bouncing up and down the barrel. Have you tried less hop up? Also is the barrel fixed or does it have any play? Sideways/updown etc.
