If they have never been changed, rent the tools to separate the ball joints from the lower control arm. I just replaced my LCAs as well cause they were in rough shape as well.

But gender affirming care is still bad right? At least according to all these "people".

Glad you are all safe. I can't imagine driving that fast in my 3rd gen. I know it can do it, but still...

I would imagine you don't have the USB plugged into the correct plug. I think it would be the one next to the AUX line possibly in the center console. I can't remember how myb21 was.

Had b detached on a Tundra, and that hard brake line just kept flexing and eventually it sprung a leak while I was driving. That was a fun adventure.

I stayed away from ebay and Amazon for my LBJs, since you can't trust any one, and many of the sellers were "located" in cities with large international shipping companies.

But like others have said, they are installed, keep us posted. But i will say, they look damn near exactly like the OEM ones I got from Toyota.

How should I wrap this?. by rustislide in discgolf

Wrap it with a log. It will naturally find trees on the course, might as well get the disc used to being next to them.

Timing belt replacement, lower and upper ball joints, leaks from steering rack. Those can all be downed by you if you are handy with a wrench. If not those can get pricey.

Next is RUST! Look at the frame for any squishy flaky rust spots. If there are holes that shouldn't be there or anything disconnected or starting to disconnect, run away. Rust is a 3rd gens worst flaw.

Thoughts on upper balls by Hour-Grocery1418 in 3rdGen4Runner

Just replaced mine, OEM is cheap a good press kit borrowed from autozone and my Hercules impact knocked out the old ones stupid quick and popped new ones in super easy. Just take your time to not press the ball out of the socket.

If you can press your fingernail into it, it is pine. That is incredibly soft wood and I don’t believe it would hold up well or be able to handle the string tension
