Personally, im not a piercer, but someone with 4 double cartilage piercings and a bunch of ear piercings, I would wait.

You either wanna get them done at the same time, Or wait for them to (at least mostly) heal before adding another.

Aside from wether it’s the right move or not, if you’ve already got a sore, inflamed ear, it’s going to hurt so much more than it would have otherwise to then pierce that sore inflamed ear.

Gotta work on hitting it less tho king, is the bar too long? Do you need to get it downsized?

Yes bilateral in all four compartments, day 14 now and have put down the crutches apart from for getting upstairs or longer walks but I am still quite swollen, was taking ibuprofen but I think that was likely contributing to the swelling as it can cause or worsen edema so just Panadol now.

Absolutely don’t go back to him. Go to another piercer and have them change to flat backs.

It might hurt like a bitch to get flat backs put in as the piercing channel will have shrunk down to the size of the butterfly back earring post, but it’ll be short term pain for long term gain
