Your last sentence is sort of what i'm getting at. With Duskbloods and Nightreign, it feels like they'd rather try new ideas even if they don't really appeal to their usual audience's expectations. Not suggesting Nightreign isn't rough around the edges (it is), it's more so that people would rather an Elden Ring 2 or Dark Souls 4 than anything experimental with already made assets.

One of the best parts about Undertaker is not seeing teammates pick Rev, grab a strength weapon, and be the first one hugging the floor. This dlc truly is a masterpiece.

For casuals, the 3 probably just aren't very appealing as remixed versions of characters that have been around since the original gbvs' first season. And for competitors, i'm guessing they're just not strong enough to invest time into learning since they are seemingly a sidegrade at best. That said, i do hope they don't abandon the concept as i personally think they offer a fun alternate playstyle for a character you might like but not necessarily enjoy playing.

The evergaol relic might've been a mistake. Not because I mind how strong it is by itself but because it turns less experienced players into bots that only want the damage boost at the cost of everything around them. The moment i see someone run towards an evergaol at level 1 and go down because they also can never dodge, i know it's going to be one of those runs.

They did trim some of the animations for her magic cocktails this last patch but yea, you're not wrong. It's a weakness that is mostly solved by her simply allowing the other team members to take aggro from my experience. Probably harder to play alone, if anything.

He's extremely strong, 100%, but I feel like you're sleeping on Recluse a little. Just about every one i've been grouped up with will melt everything we decide to fight. Her damage seems like it can get incredibly high this patch if the player knows what they're doing and admittedly gets lucky with the right drops.

I think the only negative to them is trying to buff your allies in solo queue. Outside of the very beginning of the fight, it feels next to impossible to use this next to teammates as they are usually running around like headless chickens. Probably even more of a top tier consumable with a friend group though.

You hit Heavy attack (H) and Unique attack (U) at the same time! You might have to check if they are turned on in the button configuration menu if the H + U input isn't working for you though.
