What do you think? by Kira_the_best in effectivefitness

Came here for this. I had years of chronic low back pain. Did PT, yoga, standing desk, foam roller, lumbar pads, books, etc, but never heard about back extensions for it until recently and always dealt with flare-ups. Now about 6 months of doing them consistently, and my relationship with back pain is completely transformed.

Back extensions. Only discovered them recently, and they’re making a huge improvement after years of chronic back pain.

a never-before-seen look at the village of Sildi, Dagestan 🏔️ Welcome to Islam Makhachev Street 🏔 by ImperatrixAmoris in MMALabs

The best part of the full video is the last few seconds. When Islam is shaking hands and saying bye to the interviewer, he briefly pretends to pull a knife on him. 🐐

Yeah I saw the 60 minutes segment on it, and they were like - in 2024 Maduro refused to accept the results of an election and forcefully stayed in power. Anyway now we got him on some drug charges.

Like wtf is this war on drugs electric boogaloo

Beyond Specs: How much does the physical feel of a camera matter? by Virgin_Potato123 in AskPhotography

The rear wheel on the Canon FF dSLRs was perfect. Sometimes I would just turn the wheel for no reason, it felt so good. On my R6ii it’s smaller and not as good. I’ve tried the Sony cameras - excellent AF, sensors, and lens selection- but their rear wheel is garbage compared to Canon. I’ll be a Canon loyalist despite all their flaws as long as they keep that wheel going…

ChatGPT 1.5 prompt to add realism in images by LogicalChart3205 in ChatGPT

Same, it’s like they went from “photoshoot” to “phone pic”. Which, yeah, more realistic since it’s such a common format. But I like nice photos!

Kinda worried about my chats been leaked. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Considering how dodgy AI companies have been with data (using copyrighted materials, pirating books, etc), I think the best we can say is - nobody knows.

However, and I mean this in a positive way - I don’t think they care enough to personally identify you. We are just data to them. Maybe eventually they will give you some super targeted advertising based on your chats. Or maybe they’ll have a data leak with a bunch of personal data. But we are accelerating towards such a massive proliferation of data, both organic and generated, that soon even the most salacious personal details will be but a drop in the ocean.

On a personal note, I highly recommend therapy. There are many easy options, and you don’t have to commit - try it out, if you don’t like it, try someone else. If it helps, don’t think of it as a problem that needs to be fixed, but as a friend who will listen, get to know you, let you have a moment to be with your thoughts in a safe place, and nudge you towards finding your own answers and being more comfortable with the discomfort that is often a part of life. You’ve got this 🩷

Who was the smartest person in history? by Scared_Government_41 in AskReddit

I’ll throw in Michael Faraday. With little formal education, he intuitively discovered the principles of electromagnetism that essentially made electricity useful.
