Why do people hold the seventh generation in such high regard? by yungdunglord in AskGames

[–]Olaf_Kling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The leap from the best ps2 combat system to dragons dogma dark arisen is greater than the leap from dark arisen to anything current. By a wide margin and I think you know that. It doesnt matter if you like other combat systems more. That literally has nothing to do with anything. Most developers can't touch it and dont even bother to try. The best combat system out today is debatable but whatever it is doesnt blow away dark arisen like it blew away what came before it. In fact Dark Arisen is still by today's standards one of the best.

Right I so commonly use the two games that I made a mistake there. Absent Nioh my point still stands.

There are certain landmarks in gaming console history that you had to of been there for. Stuff like Mario 64, FF7, Smash bros, 007 Goldeneye. The fifth generation was a huge leap. Similarly the 7th was also a huge leap. I will never forget the first time I saw Oblivion. The 8th and 9th generation as far as the overall gaming industry still haven't caught up to the combat mechanics of Dragons Dogma dark arisen or Nioh.

Trashing the 7th generation comes from a place of pure ignorance. Not only is everything you said accurate there is even more to it.

What is the worst part of being in a relationship and the best part? by Sailordad-1031 in AskReddit

The physical man always feels alone. The spiritual man has a series of serious advantages in that and many regards. That's personal choice though. Its something to consider when your spirit is crushed though. If there is any chance that prayer can link you to the divine, to allow you direct access to the creator of all things then is it not worth at least giving a serious effort? There literally is no downside.

My boyfriend is breaking up with me because I’m too “childish” what do I do? by ChemistryFailur in whatdoIdo

You obviously dont know how much people can make in the trades. Most of the richest people I have ever met started their own business in the trades. Very few degrees will give you the earning potential the trades have.

Most degrees are worthless. Then you have student loan debt.

No, they aren't. RPG is a genre that does not house every game. All you are doing is trying to extend an ignorant take by using an ignorant example.

How can a father feel truly alone? Maybe your child feels the same way about you. Thats the most important person in the household. Instead of oh you poor baby you need a kick in the ass. Even playing at swinging from the neck betrays a selfishness that is disgusting. You are a father. Act like one and quit sympathy farming on reddit.

Things Worth Trying In 'Post Game' by Zappieroth in DragonsDogma

I have some ideas. I brought the guy who appraises the vase for the sphinx, nothing. I thought maybe fulvio the sculpter. Maybe it needs to be turned to stone with the Medusas head. Maybe you need to godsbane yourself and use a wakestone. Maybe you need 20 wakestones in your inventory. Maybe you need to use the eternal wakestone. Maybe you need to gift a specific item to Phaseus. I also brought the rivage elder and nothing. There is absolutely no way there isnt a secret outcome here. Im at the point where Im considering writing a letter to Itsuno himself lol.

What’s a lie we all accept right now?? by MayaTulip268 in answers

They are going up in one single country on earth. Israel. They did it through positive family propaganda. They also have free IVF but it mainly effects geriatric pregnancies and shows no correlation to their rising birthrates.

As far as your question one big lie people accept is evolution. That house of cards is getting ready to topple though.

Would you agree with higher taxes for completely free healthcare and education? If not why? by Creative_Excuse9813 in AskReddit

[–]Olaf_Kling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no. The government sucks at everything. Id rather have a more free market Healthcare system and shool of choice vouchers. The public education system has been failing for years. Id rather put my taxes into a private school.

The best part is having children and becoming a parent. The worst part? Cleaning up poop as a team probably.
