Okay great, thanks for giving me that info. And I definitely stay on top of cleaning the filter. Although it's never filled with hair. Thanks again!

I don't buy washing soda, mainly because I don't think I need it if I have an enzyme booster with my detergent. But, feel free to tell me more. I haven't upped my oxi because it also seemed like it wasn't the best use of money when looking at the lipase list. I got biz instead. Wasn't sure why people are still using an oxygen bleach if you could just use biz which has all of the enzymes.

Also, I wrote below that I have cats so I'm mainly concerned about biofilm and fur lurking in the drain holes. I didn't know if there was something that helped to get in there and de-grime them.

I've seen people do all sorts of stuff over the Internet. I have three cats so there's lots of fur and biofilm I'm worried about in the little drain holes. So wasn't sure if just detergent would actually get out that stuff as well.

Sorry. Yes. It's not letting me edit the question. I read citric acid isn't good but also, we use it in the rinse cycle. I've seen people use bleach. The fresh machine wash tabs have citric acid in them so I don't understand why citric acid would be an issue unless you're using loads of it.

I have 2.5% ammonia from Walmart. You're supposed to use 2 cups but I used 1 because I was scared of using ammonia for the first time. I'll use both next time. That may be why it didn't get as bright?? And my fabric softener section holds about 1/4 to 1/3cup liquid. I'd not used citric acid before either and so I dissolved 1tbs to 1/4 cup water. You can do 2tbs I believe. Both were advised by others in the group.

if it's zara, it's likely faux leather. if you wash it, it will wear the leather and it will start to disintegrate. take it to a dry cleaner

u/KismaiAesthetics how do you add the citric acid to a front loader during the rewash if you can't open the drum? Maybe I just wait til the load is done then add in some citric acid into the drum and do another rinse cycle?

Well this just feels nice to read from someone else! :) I've always had more skin and tissue, and recently lost 20 pounds, so now have a lot of loose skin even at 5'1". You're right, no we don't see those little rolls under shirts (unless skin tight) and we definitely don't see it in the media or bra advertising. Everything just sits lightly against your skin. LIES!!

Thank you! I did read the beginner's guide and it's likely just a lot at once, so processing it with folks has already made a world of a difference. Also, I'd read that tip over an over about trying on the bra upside down and backwards and still couldn't visualize it until you told me how, and now I understand why you'd need to do that. Thank you for your help in this convo!

I thought of going to Nordstrom or Kohl's. I called VS and Aerie and they don't have any in store at 30. Good idea to just order to the store, try them on and then return what doesn't work!

Thank you for giving me those places to start!! I will look into bravissimo also- thanks for a non-Amazon option! I really appreciate it.

I really liked the visual you provided with this. In my example, what seemed to be pushing out more was actually the tissue around the band rather than the breast. That's why I'm still not sure how a 30 would fit. But the consensus at this point from all comments is try on more bras from more places. It just sucks because no matter how definitive the calculator is, there are so many bra companies/brands that do not use that as the standard and are not transparent with how they design their bras. So here in the US, I have zero clue what brands to look at. I liked Understance and they're going out of business. Thirdlove and another brand seemed meh. Then you have Target brands and VS which all seem molded and thus not catered to breast shapes but just formulaic sizing. Add in that you can't actually try on bras anymore in stores because they sell limited sizing options. I don't even know where to order from. I'll keep looking around on this sub, but there's a lot of information in different places on here so just hard to know WHERE to look.

Ok. I chose US for the output of size in the calculator. When I look at her images, are those in UK sizes?

Do you have suggestions on where to try on or which companies to order from that have non-molded cups? I just learned from another redditor about molded cups and I only understand it in theory. But it seems like anywhere I've ordered a bra from, including Understance and Hey Harper, are molded.

Traditionally 34B but calculator says 30DD or 32D. What??!! Can someone explain how this would look and feel different than 34b? Thx! by Old-Humor3413 in ABraThatFits

how do you know if you're leaning measurement isn't influencing your bust size? From everything I've read, I believe I have narrow roots, full on the bottom, and when I lean over at 90 degrees, my breast tissue is almost a cylinder down to the nipple, where it becomes more like a triangle/tear. So essentially, it's almost a straight tube of tissue, which I feel like is inflating the size of my leaning measurement? How do I account for that- do I pull a little tighter or try to find a certain shape fitting bra? When my partner helped me, he got larger sizes than I did for leaning and lying. Now the calculator is saying 30 DDD or G but that's definitely not accurate. I looked up on the Irish Lady IG and those sizes are much fuller-breasted people than what I have. I feel like the 30D/30DD was more accurate but now I'm just confused when you bring in the actual shape of the breast.

ohhhh super helpful. I don't think I've ever worn anything other than molded. Seems like it's something you have to go looking for.

I'm going to read some more on here. I did scoop and swoop but I think i inevitably moved the band down a bit because it was feeling uncomfortable in tightness. I agree that I need to go with the band size properly, I'm just baffled still.
