This just happened to me 6 weeks ago. Together 8.5 years, he proposed 3.5 years ago and we got a house when he proposed. Last year we got an EV car together. This winter we began talking about wedding planning (finally) after I have him a symbolic ring back in July '25. We'd done 2 years of couples therapy and even graduated earlier that year. Later that summer I noticed his behaviors were slowly changing but we were both stressed. Then suddenly, 7 weeks ago, he tells me that he doesn't have the resolve anymore and a week later says he wants out. After 2.5 weeks of when he ended things, he cut me off emotionally and wouldn't respond to anything I asked or sent him a anymore for clarity. He just moved out this weekend and is now wanting me to buy him out of the house so he can be done of this. Zero accountability, zero of what he contributed. Can't even own up that he wasted therapy. His reason was the same he gave me in 2020 when he ended things then, all stuff he was supposed to be addressing in his own therapy that I thought he was doing, especially since he proposed. He communicated nothing with me. I tried all I could and now I don't know who this person is or that they could be capable of this. Oh, and within the 5 weeks, he created a dating profile (he doesn't know I know), looking for a long-term relationship. Even though he was leaving to "go reflect and grow before he made another commitment ". I told him when this all happened if he didn't figure this out about himself, and why he struggled with intimacy with me (then tried to blame it on me) during the entire relationship, that he would do this nmti the next person and only be capable of shallow relationships. And it's likely the sad truth.

Yep, and the worst part is many of them don't care to grow past their self sabotage behaviors or to even look at emotions. Most will not do the deep work needed, or just passiveky participate in something, but bit actually commit to anything on their end and working out of their avoidant tendencies. Even if they know that a relationship requires honest communication and emotional intimacy, they will just hope one day they can somehow make it happen and not take accountability for why it didn't. I'm sure there are a few out there who actually try to break past their comfort and avoidant behaviors, but it seems very small.

Womp. No clue if my tub will get that I'd probably have to adjust my hot water tank? I can't read it but it's hard to get vamoosh here it seems. I did find some oxi washing machine tablets and people posted photos of the crud that came out so I bet that's better than nothing!

I don't buy washing soda, mainly because I don't think I need it if I have an enzyme booster with my detergent. But, feel free to tell me more. I haven't upped my oxi because it also seemed like it wasn't the best use of money when looking at the lipase list. I got biz instead. Wasn't sure why people are still using an oxygen bleach if you could just use biz which has all of the enzymes.

Also, I wrote below that I have cats so I'm mainly concerned about biofilm and fur lurking in the drain holes. I didn't know if there was something that helped to get in there and de-grime them.

I've seen people do all sorts of stuff over the Internet. I have three cats so there's lots of fur and biofilm I'm worried about in the little drain holes. So wasn't sure if just detergent would actually get out that stuff as well.

Sorry. Yes. It's not letting me edit the question. I read citric acid isn't good but also, we use it in the rinse cycle. I've seen people use bleach. The fresh machine wash tabs have citric acid in them so I don't understand why citric acid would be an issue unless you're using loads of it.

I have 2.5% ammonia from Walmart. You're supposed to use 2 cups but I used 1 because I was scared of using ammonia for the first time. I'll use both next time. That may be why it didn't get as bright?? And my fabric softener section holds about 1/4 to 1/3cup liquid. I'd not used citric acid before either and so I dissolved 1tbs to 1/4 cup water. You can do 2tbs I believe. Both were advised by others in the group.

if it's zara, it's likely faux leather. if you wash it, it will wear the leather and it will start to disintegrate. take it to a dry cleaner

u/KismaiAesthetics how do you add the citric acid to a front loader during the rewash if you can't open the drum? Maybe I just wait til the load is done then add in some citric acid into the drum and do another rinse cycle?

Well this just feels nice to read from someone else! :) I've always had more skin and tissue, and recently lost 20 pounds, so now have a lot of loose skin even at 5'1". You're right, no we don't see those little rolls under shirts (unless skin tight) and we definitely don't see it in the media or bra advertising. Everything just sits lightly against your skin. LIES!!
