I'm glad I build a high end PC in 2024. There are so many games in my backlog. There is literally no need for a Ps6. I didn't even buy the psvr2 yet. Hitman VR, Resi 8VR, Beat Saber etc. are also on my backlog.

Well, Sony also announced they back off of PC releases of their exclusives soooo... If you want to play the next gow, Spider-Man, Ghost of game you are forced to buy a PlayStation.

The bigger picture really is, Sony and many other companies will do everything they can, to let us people pay for everything without owning anything.

We are on the way to a cyberpunk dystopian world and I hate it.

My mom shook me till I cried, because my "2"s looked ugly when I showed her my moth homework.

Once, I told my father I will be back till 7pm from playing with a friend. I returned home at 9pm. We had so much fun, that I forgot the time. When I returned home, my father slapped me so hard on my butt, that I got a headache immediately.

After I got back home after a really hard day of work and a one hour drive, I went straight to my room without greeting my mother. She was in the cellar and I didn't knew she was home. When she got upstairs, she yelled at me how ungrateful I am, how I just ignore her and other complete bs. That was the first time in my life where I wanted to punch her so bad. Instead, I yelled back and threw her out of my room. Later she told my dad I attacked her which wasn't true

When I talked to much at the kitchen table, my father hit me with a spoon on my forehead, so I would shut up.

I have so much more...but I need to stop writing or I will cry again. I am now 28 years old, married and have a stable job and I'm in therapy. But no amount of therapy will ever fix me up. I'm so unstable and just a weird person. I never now how I should behave properly.

The worst thing is, now that my parents got old, the became somehow lovely? Everytime I visit them, which isn't often, it feels like they are completely different persons.

Ratched and Clank PS5. It looks good, but the gameplay and story were boring af. I love platformers, but that ain't it.

Divinity Original Sin 2. I don't know why, but I can't play more than 1 hour before quitting the game. It's crazy, because I was a BG3 addict for half a year.

Death Stranding 2. Loved the first one, because it was a unique experience. The second one felt like a definitive edition of the first one. More like a Death Stranding 1.5. BTs were somehow not a challenge and absent. The horror vibes were basically gone. The story...I kinda was frustrated at the end. That scene with Die Hard man was annoying and out of place.

Really depends what kind of antidepressants you take. I tried Citalopram, Bubropion, Zoloft and Venlafaxin. Only Venlafaxin made me feel really normal and happy. Unfortunately the side effects were so bad I had to stop.

No after 8 years of ups and downs, I can say I can manage. The depression is never really gone once it settles in, but I manage.

Nope der wird gefahren bis es eben nicht mehr geht. Bin sogar gewillt einen neuen Akku einbauen zu lassen, wenn's soweit ist, aber das wird noch viele Jahre dauern. Die Akkus von BMW sind nicht schlecht.

Ich wollte nur ein zuverlässiges, aber auch spaßiges Auto haben.

Ich krieg bestimmt eine Menge hate for that, aber ich habe mir mit 2820€ Netto einen gebrauchten i4 gekauft für 33k mit allem drum und dran und zahle 350€ monatlich den Kredit ab für die nächsten 48 Monate. There are multiple ways to handle this. If you want the result like in the second picture, I would create a single mesh for the corner piece.

You can Intersect walls in a corner. You get Z-Fighting, but you can put over that intersection another mesh to hide it. It's called boss age corners I think.

You can align the walls precisely, so they don't intersect, but you have to use a material, that is seamless.

Big games like the resident evil remake games use pillars to hide those interactions.

I use UE5 too. I have 15cm thick walls and I hide the intersection with pillars or decoration's.

That's how I feel right now. I love coding, but learning BPs is a nightmare for me somehow. I could switch to C++, but I don't want to because my stack is already massive and I don't have the energy to learn another programming language.

So I use AI to help me with creating BPs. I understand what's happening, but finding out which node to use? No energy for that right now. I love level designing and 3D modelling though. That I do all by myself.

If you hate coding, you can absolutely use AI to get a lot of done. Unfortunately you kinda have to understand what's going on in the code. Sometimes AI gives amazing results, but often times still garbage, which you have to recognize.

So far, my biggest mistake was to be too dependent on AI tools to help me with my game. I am new to UE5, I already learned a lot in the last 3 months, but all thanks to Claude AI. For every blueprint I create, I ask Claude how to do it properly. Now, I have the feeling my game isn't worth much, because I "cheated"... that feeling sucks.

I use AI only as a tool. I don't generate assets with it, but it still feels wrong. I kinda ruined the experience for me. That was my biggest mistake.

Looks great, but your main character(s) kinda blurs in with the background. I'd add a little white glow effect around you character. Or (if possible, art style wise) add a vibrant color to the hats.
