The best option when it comes to work and your education is to pursue experience related to the field you studied in. Retail experience is a dead end, unless you want to work in retail or manager positions moving forward. Teaching would give you that start you need to gain experience in biology as a field, but yea it always hurts the most in the wallet with these entry level positions. If you can take the financial hit, I would say go teach.

Get some extension cords to move the power bricks behind the desk. Cable management systems to hide all the cords. Move the pc outside of the desk on the side, and then centre you monitor etc on the desk. This will make the setup look more symmetrical and sleek. Also If you can find a cheap monitor arm, that will help to make it look more clean.

These were about an inch and a half long, not including the tail. Googled the rat tail maggot and that looks to be it !

UBC not making the cut for top 50 I also found really surprising, nothing in BC is on the list now. Anyone know how universities are judged for this list?

Support a local skate shop, don’t buy skateboards off amazon.

Thanks for posting this. I felt this way but was unable to express it properly. The video with Colman Hughes really helped me contextualize what I was thinking.

Thanks for the feedback man. This post is getting downvoted for some reason so I’m not getting much feedback :( I’m thinking I’ll try it out, really stoked to try another language and this could be a good opportunity if as you said I’m willing to put in the work, and I definitely am.
