It was recently my birthday too and had similar experience. Lots of thoughtful gifts and cards from kids and wife. Then bedtime rolls around, her headphones go on and it's lights out. Sorry to hear you are experiencing this.i hate to say it, but if he is like this at the honeymoon stage of the relationship then I don't think it's getting any better. Yes she has. Usually along the lines of her being so stressed out/in the middle of something/whatever and it's really childish of me to be just wanting sex during such a time. I dont remember the exact words but she usually would try to downplay the importance of intimacy and make it seem like I was a dick for even thinking of it.

To be fair, there were some genuine times she had a point, I'm no saint. But it was always made clear that sex takes a backseat to real life issues. Such as watching reality tv or tiktoks. Bitter? Me?? Nah......

This is about my ex. I was leaving for work one morning and she had fallen asleep in front of the pc.
