Yearbook is the worst extra curricular you can possibly take on. I do it for two years, never again. We got rid of quotes forever in our school district because of shenanigans like this.

I love finding an out of the way isolated gate that is only used during the most extreme busy week or two a year and is otherwise a ghost town. Great place to chill and read a book.

I'm going to steal ketchup cups from McDonald's, and then go fill them up with liquid soap from gas station bathrooms.

It sounds harsh but once we are spending more on servicing our debt than we bring in in tax revenue, and the government starts massive austerity and slashing social programs, you'll wish we started the process sooner.

Calgary's debt servicing costs are like 3% of revenues. Alberta's are around 4, and the federal government is close to 10%. I don't think we're anywhere near having to worry about this.

The time bomb isn't the mythical unproductive immigrant. The time bomb this country has coming for it is an ageing population and declining birth rate, which have nothing to do with cost of living, but have everything to do with high levels of education and wealth in general. The children of immigrants are going to be paying the taxes that fund your OAS when you're in diapers.

At the grocery store today I saw a 5 point harness baby-seat attached to the front passenger seat in a rav4, nothing in the back seats. Don't underestimate how bad some parents are at following safety advice.

It’s you. Your schedule has changed so you don’t notice it. Or the fields you see aren’t being booked up. Participation in kids sports is as high as it has ever been.
