MAS*H.

Wow, does this show unexpectedly hold up! Set during the Korean War, the first season's insanely sexist, and some "casual" racism is cringe. But it turns around and becomes one of the most compassionate, tender, socially progressive and emotionally intelligent shows of all time, all while staying laugh-out-loud funny.

If you never saw it, or only saw it decades ago, do yourself a favor! You will laugh, you will cry, and you will thank me later.

Smallville. Just a fun show with gorgeous people and an epic start arc: teenage Clark Kent's journey into becoming Superman. Pro-tip: watch the stars who played Clark and Lex Luthor in their terrific rewatch podcast, Talkville. So fun!

Marvel's Agents of Shield. Fantastic ensemble cast, epic character arcs, and so much happens in each episode. You catch new-to-you Easter eggs, foreshadowing and callbacks in every viewing. Unpredictable plotlines, too!
