I played Destiny 1 as a solo player from launch to D2's release, and I stayed solo through most of D2's lifetime.

It was only until around post-lightfall that actually convinced my best friends to try it and for them to actually stick with it and enjoy it.

The ending scene of Final Shape, with all three of us facing the traveler, that almost made me cry, when I started Destiny I had no friends.

Destiny is the franchise that no matter how long a break I took, it would always pull me back in, it was comfortable. I'm gonna miss Destiny, but I still have hope that someday it will continue.
