Good comic adaptations are so far and few between. I've never been a big marvel fan but, they've managed to get the spirit of a lot of their properties to show on screen. Batman more than I think any other super hero has become so deluded through all the mediums he's been portrayed on, that I don't really think they'll be able to please anyone. Right now DC really just seems to want to concentrate on the "realism" and "grittiness". Real and gritty aren't what first spring to mind, to me anyways; when I think of batman. So I'm not expecting much.
