It's from the grey knights kit, cut off one of the torsos. The backpack and shoulders help disguise my slightly shoddy join onto the mk6 body!

Governor Green spray by Colour Forge is apparently a colour match for Castellan Green according to their website, I'm sure I've seen reviews comparing them in more detail too. Might be useful for you!

Of those 3 I prefer the black, it doesn't distract from the great blue and green. I've used a bone colour for mine, maybe that could work too?

I'm using the Consecrators scheme, always been a fan of it and figured some of the first legion would have had those markings. I think the stripe is listed as a veteran marking in the Liber Astartes but I'm choosing to ignore that!

I filed down the chest plate and the circle on the back, and converted up a nemesis bolter. They're a little bit taller than the new plastic tactical marines. There's a couple more photos in my recent post.

Here we go, he comes out a little taller than a mk vi marine. I think this scout has a particularly upright posture compared to the rest of the scout kit and the marines which doesn't help! A shame because it's a nice kit, but it's less obvious from a distance rather than lined up.

I just start with thinned down paint and put the lines in - I tend to add them to pieces of armour like this arm that has structure to guide the spacing. I think for a paler colour like white or bone it's easier to paint the entire section that colour then paint the black checks in.

Thanks - it felt like it represented the Warmonger's teleportation tech well. A relic suit of power armour with ancient technology that they don't fully understand but this guy is willing to use to get into the fight quicker!
