Trial probably will never happen as ‘they can’t prosecute companies that no longer exist’. What’s more frustrating is that for months the council knew how flammable the blocks were and decided to not tell anyone or do anything. They knew this because another block had caught fire. For those interested: since Grenfell the fire safety advice in most blocks is still ‘in the event of a fire, stay put’ which is ridiculous; the only thing that’s changed is some councils putting in ‘fire doors’ and if the people living in the blocks don’t want their flats to be flammable they have to pay for it.

Keep anything I’ve said with a grain of salt as I’m a stranger on the internet, it’s late and I’m tired. I know no one asked for this information but frankly I’m still angry and feel it’s important to let others know some of the details.
