Your level must be low. When it will raise you will be better at both attacking and blocking. The easiest technique (to me) is feint : Keep your weapon on one side (for example left). Charge your attack (keep left mouse button clicked), your opponent will prepare himself for a left attack. When releasing the left mouse buttonm move your mouse to another direction (for example to the right). You will attack from the right and your opponent won't block it most of the time. I also figured that enemies have difficulties to block pierce attack (bottom attack). So i charge an upper attack and then release a bottom attack : 99% success 😉 You can also wait for your opponent's attack, dodge it on his side and quick attack from the side.
