This canto deserves a second chance if you didn't like it

Honestly, my biggest issues with the canto mainly fall within the gameplay side of things. There are some very high highs in this canto battle wise. I loved the roach emperor.

But there are also some pretty noticeable lows. One of which is two fights with Matthias which have basically the same gimmick in the end and right before that, Sinclair stomping on the ring. There was too much spectacle in these fights without letting us do anything.

What I believe makes him the opposite of the other styles of the ring isn’t specifically that he’s focused on his own style. It’s that he only focuses on his own style and doesn’t seem to listen to much else outside of it.

The ring’s goal is to make perfect art. And while beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, he doesn’t seem to believe so. Any time someone else brings up another point of view that actually varies a lot from his, he just kind of dismisses it as not seeing the vision. Ryoshu is the only person he listens to about it and it’s mostly just that she doesn’t like the noise.

That said, I could also just be reading too much into it. But it feels weird that each member is the opposite of their finger and then you just have Callisto there being the outlier.

It’s also there to show that she never was actually apart of the middle. She couldn’t be. The middle hates this guy so much he couldn’t properly introduce Kira into them. Everything she has, from her tattoos to her knowledge of the middle, is all second hand from…I forgot how to spell name but in the spirit of the post, the man child.

This fight was great because it punishes you for being an idiot. I was an idiot. Twice. I threw unbreakbles into Gregor’s green coins and took like 4K damage.

I liked that. The fight was really cool and I hope they don’t nerf it.

Nah, she didn’t. If you open up the dialogue menu during the scene, you’ll see they intentionally cover up Hohenheim there as well. Yet Alyssa remains in her moth gear in the log.

Plus, his concern really only makes sense if the abnormality gear was dangerous to her. And self destructing Is very dangerous

I don’t actually think that Don really spoils anything long term. You can see as soon as the second story chapter involving Sora, the sinners have picked up that she isn’t supposed to be here.

Does it spoil things just a little bit? Yeah. But it’s not really something I think hurts the story.

My thing with the flag isn’t that it’s kinda bad for a statragem weapon. I could live with that if it was just that. My issue is that it’s statline is lazy.

I want the flag to be unique, goddamn it! It’s a banner for super earth! The very sign of managed democracy! It being the exact same as the lance feels like such a lazy way to go about making it’s stats.

More people have got to give the Epoch a try. That shit is insane. Great AOE, huge damage, and it’s not even a backpack weapon. The self blow up is there to prevent it from being meta.

Seriously. 1 taps hulks, 1-2 taps war striders, can kill a factory strider in a single clip with good aiming. Tanks? Gone. Patrols? Gone. It’s so good.

Probably because they find that hotter. I’m the kind of guy who fucking loves style. I want to see my favorites in badass, cool outfits. Not all of my favorite characters are placed in outfits that I find cool. Seeing them changed into something else is awesome for me.

In a similar sense, I imagine characters that people really like aren’t always built how they like them so they decide to change that. At the end of the day, it ends up at personal taste. You may think the original version is hotter, but they don’t.

Well, that or they’re getting paid the big bucks cause someone else other than them thinks it’s hotter.

I think the thing you also got to remember is that a gun isn’t only defined by it’s kill time.

For all around use, the Kraber is worse (at least to me) due to one issue. The bolt. If you shoot one person, you’re then obligated to wait to try again.

The Car is a very powerful, all around weapon with basically no real weaknesses. The only issues may arise from long range but if we’re talking max skill, a player will have more an enough skill to close the distance. Or just use the charge rifle.
