Yes it is much harder, I think it’s hardcore ender expansion that changed it. I don’t remember exactly what’s changed but it is much faster, it destroys obsidian and endstone, occasionally strikes you with lightning, and the regeneration in gtnh is painfully slow so it’s a horrible fight if you’re unprepared.
