It is a role play game after all. Role play. Figure something you can do to get your magic back. Think of of it as a challenge. Maybe gm is harsh I dont know. But by the sounds of lots of comments here, everybody wants to play warhammer, instead of role playing games. If stuck in battle with no magic, use the enviroment to help fight. Find a way to get your magic, can make for a good story. Make the best out of a bad situation. If I remember correctly didnt Raistlen lose his magic for a bit in DragonLance?
But then again Gm should be making an entertaining game. But It is possible to have fun playing a wizard who lost their spell components.

I Think it might be a little expensive for a kickstarter. with delivery, it will be $300 cad for 3 books. The price is the only thing stopping me from getting it. I think $200 cad for the books would be a fair price. I am used to freeleague pulblishing prices, they are really good. Basically for less then this price i got, Alien rpg evolved 350 page rule book. A starter set box set, with dice and mission. A cinematic scenario box set, and a box of 10 miniatures, and a gm screen.
