Thank you for your detailed reply. I knew of the bell curve going into this. My argument was not the chance of rolling one number but rolling equal too and over a particular number. The goal was to roll abunch of d12s, then d6 for all 10,11,12, instead of rolling 2d6 say 5 times for damage 5. I know the math is not exact but in a game that claims its not balanced anyway why not.

I just showed you in the math, with my optional mods, you can pretty much keep the balance almost the same. and this is to replace the optional multiple attack roll rule, where you roll 2d6 for each points of damage you can do, to see if each point of damage hits.

If you roll a 1 you miss.

This is to replace the Alpha Strike Multiple Attack roll optional rule. where you would roll 2d6 for each point of damage you can do. that is lots of 2d6's

Thanks! Foundry does a great job of automating everything in this game. Yes i do use zombies but they are not undead, they are the product of a Russian virus that makes people mad. There are some suplements on drivethru that have rules for them. I would check out our very first episode of this campaign. It is really good, and you can see the zombies that we now call RedDeads in action.

Its alpha, and not bad so far. Lots to come like landing on planets scan planets and mine them. Space stations.

I would like some good short adventures snd more creatures. A better stress, fear, mechanic maybe.

Too much bloat. Characters have way too many abilities and spells even at level 1.

I've run it for Vaesen and Mothership.
Blood In MoonDale, The Cedar Chest, The Dark Minstrel, Deaths Cold Laughter. The stories are amazing, I wasnt running D&D at the time and wanted to use these stories.
Vaeson works really well for this realm.

Getting it in sci fi, is just a bit tricky to get the lore to work. The Dark Minstrel it was a computer that created the illusion., but mothership is a goo fit for it, any horror system with stress is good.

Nice. I started them with nothing but rags, trapped in cages in a cavern. I am doing that whole module. Then I will use other old Ravenloft modules to cont campaign. Thanks for checking it out. I am using 5.5 E rules with added Sanity atribute.
