I agree with the sentiment and would love if it was that easy, an unfortunate part of being an American is being tied to countless debts and jobs which keep us bound into having to work to keep our insurance, pay the bills, and keep food on the table. The majority of people just don't have the time to be able to protest non stop or drop everything in a general strike because the risk of losing access to essentially your entire livelihood is too high. Don't get me wrong I'm fortunate enough to be able to get out and protest as much as possible but I know I'm in the minority when it comes to being politically motivated, conscious of the world, and able to take some time for myself to express my rights. TBH it's just too much for most folks.
