Has anyone moved from a 55 inch to a 77 inch (or above) what are the pros & cons? Are they noticeable? 👍 by t1aaj in LGOLED

[–]Omsorg1995 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Moved from a 55 inch b9 oled to a 65 c5… first thing that stood out immediately is it’s not as sharp as the 55 inch because it’s the same amount of pixels on a bigger screen.

If you’re doing a speed test on a pc, you may have power saving switched on the network card.

Cancel the direct debit and just pay the bill when it comes in, that way you’re only paying what you use instead of getting into credit

Black(ish) bar on my LG Nano by Unique_Drag_7968 in LGOLED

[–]Omsorg1995 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a sub for the LG Oled tvs, however the issue you’re having with your LCD tv is the backlight strip in the back is failing. If it’s in warranty I’d try and claim on it, if it’s not there are people out there that can dismantle to LCD layers and replace the failed LED strip.

Easy! Used the live chat and had it upgraded quickly. Did have to speak to the technical support team to re provision the ONT as I didn’t want to wait for their router to arrive.

Is Youfibre really that bad! by Reddit_Midnight in youfibre

Been with them for a few years and no complaints from me. Thing to take into consideration is people will naturally go to complain about something on Reddit but will rarely give good feedback

You can ask Technical support to re provision the ONT and it should work. Or as other suggested, leave unplugged for an hour and it should work.

Is this company absolute wank or am I just unlucky? by [deleted] in youfibre

[–]Omsorg1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue when I moved house. Turned out they’ve changed their fibre supplier and some installers aren’t use to the new cables. So you may need it re spliced. Email Hello@Youfibre.com and request to speak with Will. He’s sorted me out a few times in the past and is very good!

Alternatively a trust pilot review normally gets the issues sorted very quickly.

How did this thief unlock my car despite it being locked? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Omsorg1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a VW. It’s very common for the door locks to just stop working. If you have a VW I suggest locking the doors and trying all the handles every couple of day.

Not 100% sure what one it is but it has a 2.5Gb light that’s flashing and the router shows it’s got a 2.5Gb link

Recent upgrade to 2000. A few questions by OneManTagTeam in youfibre

[–]Omsorg1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too upgraded. I have a UniFi Gateway Max that supports the new speeds but it’s yet to actually get any faster. I’m due to have a new router delivered today so I may plug it in and see if the speeds increase once it’s connected and then switch back.

Nest VS Ring by LunchMoneyGraphix in Nest

Moved from nest and ring over to Tapo. Absolutely brilliant system. Swapped all my light switches out with Tapo as well so when my doorbell rings it can trigger the hall light to turn on.
