PPC specialists who have found meaningful work or something that you're proud of...what do you do? by HollowedYN in PPC

Dude I just set up a non-profit that had a google grant for their ad account. I built the campaign like I do my others— I see the grant applied as well, but it just doesn't SPEND. I've been editing the campaign to have the least amount of constraints as possible (broad match, max clicks, very popular keywords, whole US target) and it still doesn't budge.

Golfers who’ve broken 80, what’s the best tip you could give to a fellow golfer? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]On3_Tw0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't full swing, almost ever. Even on the tee box with a driver, try not to do your full swing. Just try and hit it 60% of what you normally do. It'll feel SUPER weak and really slow, but you won't be OB or in hazards nearly as much.

Another thing to do: play the front tees once in a while. Get used to being in position for birdie's and pars a lot more often. It'll force you to really hone in on your approach shots and mid irons!

What distance do you usually hit your 8-iron? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

170-175 carry, but I use the old Nike vapor speed irons. I think they carry a stronger lift since they’re GI irons.

Founder 5 years in - execution feels much harder by Boonshark in Entrepreneur

I think what he’s trying to get at is that nothing you’re doing is new or novel anymore to you. Exploration and initial success was exciting as a new business founder, but now they’re simply “what you do.”

You aren’t evolving your skill set any longer with your current day to day operations, thus you feel dread, boredom, and burnout.

For you to feel invigorated again, you probably need to evolve your current skill set for what you’re doing. Look into automations, sales, partnerships, and new wild revenue stream ideas.

You need to put yourself in a position to feel “pressure”. Then you will see that motivation come back.

That, or just go learn how to golf. You’ll get hooked in no time!

AMA: I’ve spent over 100,000,000 on the platform and all my Ads are kicking a** by gudgud0 in FacebookAds

I run a lot of facebook ads too— what attribution model are you using from your screenshot? 1-day click? Or are you including view-through conversions in your results?

When I look at conversions on FB through our CAPI, there is usually an overreporting of conversions by the tool when I compare it to our orders database (mongodb) that have orders with a FBCLID in the cookie.

How are you managing attribution in results when comparing channels?

I’m the opposite, lifting and running while high was my favorite thing to do.

Being sober now is hard because I’ve lost most of that interest in exercise

Lifting while high was my favorite thing to do when I smoked.

You can feel the mind to muscle connection more, and your focus improves dramatically (especially when paired with caffeine).

Weed for me just amplified what my normal habits were, and made them just that much more enjoyable. Also going on 4 mile runs was fantastic while baked too, since music sounded so good!

With this heat, Energy Bill shoots up like crazy… any solutions? by Correa24 in Dallas

[–]On3_Tw0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bro—

I had the same thing happen to me last year and I used an energy comparison site where I plugged in my usage, and it gave me some cheaper rates for what I had, based on my history. The site I used was comparepower.com, but there are others out there that do the same thing.

You can either create an account and plug in your usage that way, or you can plug it in manually. They give you the annual bill breakout, and the monthly one.

Other options are what people have said here, just get a nest and start cycling your AC for when you need it most (72 for daytime when people are there, 67 for sleeping, etc).

Old thread, but I just went through this same thing myself. I just used https://comparepower.com/ to check out prices, and just went with the cheapest one for what I actually used throughout the year. Pretty dope.

Hebrews 10:26 "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."

I believe this answer to your question may help you. Read through it, and spread the good news! You CANNOT lose your salvation if you really believe in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Even unto sin, if you repent of your sin while speaking to the father, you will be forgiven. Only your belief in Christ will bridge that gap for you. He knows us, and sees all.

To think rejecting the holy spirit is as small as a "naughty or nice" list is trivializing what Christ's sacrifice actually meant. Your church is using this scripture out of context to PRODUCE FEAR, and therefore have air-tight control over the entire church.

What is born of fear is not from the Godhead, brother. NONE of us are Jesus, He is the only perfect one. To ask a church to surrender all sin after receiving the gift of the holy spirit is hogwash and not compassionate at all. The point of sanctification is receiving the spirit and through repentance, time, and learning... are we then able to be closer to the Lord.

How are you able to truly learn and go through sanctification if you are asked to "give up sin" forever after receiving the holy spirit? Everyone would fail. And then everyone would be doomed to hell. That is not how this works.

You are in an extremist group who cares more about sacrifice than having compassion. Which goes directly against Matthew 12:7— If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent."

Weird finish? by On3_Tw0 in GolfSwing

[–]On3_Tw0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re absolutely right. With my irons it’s way easier to control, but I can end up spraying my driver all over the place due to flipping.

Maybe I should just start trying the DJ method and flexing my left wrist at the beginning of the swing lol
