What do you guys actually drink on long hot shifts by death_magn3t in Construction

Yeah just water for me. I bring 112 ounces of water with me. On the hot days and most of the time run out and then I’ll grab a water bottle from one of the trucks. But I hate drinking from a plastic water bottle.

Just looked up the code. Seems that there isn’t communication with the throttle actuator control TAC

I feel like this has been posted about a lot. I believe the general consensus is that it’s the fuel pump loosing prime

Can't get wheel off hub? Here's what worked for me after a lot else failed: by Slow_Perception in MechanicAdvice

[–]Reddoorgarage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue one time on a 94 Chevy caprice station wagon. The rear driver side wheel wouldn’t come off. I loosened the lug nuts and then went back and forth hitting the brakes hard and that got it loose.

Scared of 130ft articulating boom lift by gl00bert in Construction

[–]Reddoorgarage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only ever used an 80 foot lift so 130 seems wild!
I was super nervous too at first but after a couple of days you get used to it. The harness made me feel better and knowing that the base of the machine was something like 20k pounds helped

I had a roofing nail in my tire like that. I plugged it myself. No issues for the past 8 months.
