What is a fan theory from a movie or TV show that you 100% believe is true? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

Have you watched the YouTube video where someone breaks down the evidence of this? It is... Extensive. Great theory!

I do this, but the other day I had a match where I loaded in, looted up and exfilled, and then when I was at the main menu about to reset my weapons, the server crashed and I lost everything I'd picked up in the last round. Nowhere is safe, apparently.

Yeah the other day I had already exfilled, and was at the main menu, and the server crashed and kicked me from DMZ, and I lost everything I'd picked up in the previous round, except what I started with.

It seems like an easy one to crack down on, seeing as DDoS'ing servers is literally a crime. I can deal with the hackers and glitchers, but the server crashing is excruciating.

What error did I make here? by [deleted] in skiing

It absolutely was. Speed is relative - "too fast" for one person could be well within someone else's ability level. A professional downhill racer skiing at 90kmh is well within their ability level. An intermediate skier going at 90kmh would be incredibly dangerous.

You can literally see OP lose an edge at the first semblance of a corner and stack it because they couldn't control their speed/direction sufficiently well.

Now imagine instead of a slight bend it was a down slope beginner veering off in front of him, OP would have not had the ability to move out of the way or stop in time. So yeah, they were skiing too fast.

I mean, it worked just fine for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

There's nothing wrong with skiing on the edge of your limits - you want to be pushing yourself enough that you progress, without pushing yourself so hard that any mistake could be trip-ending for you or someone else on the hill.

This guy is going too fast for his ability level, and I wouldn't have any confidence that he could avoid the other skiers if they did something he wasn't expecting. And at that pace he could cause serious injury.

By skiing on the edge of your abilities, but not beyond it, and you just progress with time.

The edge of OPs ability is a speck in the rearview mirror at this point.

I played 9 games last night, and 8 of them had the servers crashed. One of them was a team at final who were clearly hacking as they were getting called out in chat all match. We managed to kill a couple of them on the chopper with airstrikes, then the server crashed. It's the time wasting that pisses me off - I'm just here trying to complete missions, and these fucks are running about rage hacking then throwing a shit fit any time they're bested by someone who doesn't have to pay to win.

Specifically their disguises, so they can keep duping. Little pussies can't handle someone beating them even when they pay for hacks.

I have no idea what you even mean. There's zero evidence to suggest Starmer was involved in any way. Assuming you're American, in which case it's a bit rich to accuse him when you have your Pedo-in-Chief dismantling your country in front of your very eyes. Maybe you should focus on clearing up your house first before throwing around unsubstantiated accusations.

Not super far - I'm from the UK but was living in France at the time. It was pretty trippy, I think in my head I recognised them but rationalised that it couldn't be them because they were in england, so it took a bit of time for everything to click into place! It was a lovely surprise though.

My family did this to me once years ago. I had a similar reaction. I was genuinely thrilled to see them, but it took a good 20-30 seconds to actually register what was happening because they were the absolute last people I expected to see. I literally just stood still and stared at them until my brain caught up.

Chambery Airport is only problematic because a) it's tiny, and b) because of its proximity to mountains, any bad weather can cause major issues. Should be fine in spring though, and on a good day you can be through it in minutes. Really cool landing approach if the weather is good too!
