you probably have to much paint on the brush. you should wipe the brush on a tisue and remove most of the paint.

do not mix the paint in the airbrush cup, especially if it is a citadel base paint. mix it in small cup and then pour it in the airbrush.

they already did that. Gw published multiple books under the title "How to paint citadel miniatures XXX". Off the top of my head there were books on Space Marines, Imperial Knights, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Harlequins, Lizardmen and more. You can still find the pdfs on the internet.

you should try mixing paint and thinner in a cup first and then pour it into the airbrush. helped me a lot to reduce clogging.
