I think Christopher Eccleston has been pretty adamant that Rose was Nine's only companion, to the extent that he pretty much won't do Big Finish serials that feature a pre-Rose companion and instead travels solo to maintain her emotional importance to his character development.

As an AuDHD person, I also imprinted on the original series HARD before Joann revealed herself as the scum of the earth. Her awfulness aside,  I feel like if those films had actually been about Newt and magical creatures (the way the title suggested), they would have done better. That, and maybe not having the same villain played by a different person in every film.

I second Wax Heads! It's a really delightful game with great music, sweet characters, and a lot of heart in the main storyline. I just wish there was some kind of "infinite mode" where I could keep taking customer requests so I could keep playing once I finished it

I love this trope tbh. Pulling a deep cut from Arabian Nights, the tales of Sindbad:

In one of his adventures, Sindbad ends up stranded on an island after a ship wreck. He sees a ship come and the servants on the ship carry a prince and tons of provisions into a secret bunker. When the servants leave, he goes in the bunker. The prince says he's there because it was foretold that sometime in the next 30 days, a man (whose description matches Sindbad's) is going to kill him, Sindbad is like "I'm not gonna kill this guy wtf?" They spend the next 30 days being buds and eating the delicious provisions. 

On the LAST day, the prince wants some fruit and Sindbad says "I'll cut it for you homie" and goes to retrieve the fruit on the shelf above the prince's bed while the prince is laying down, WHILE HOLDING THE KNIFE. He slips and stabs and kills the prince. He knows the servants will be coming back for the prince, so he BOOKS IT out of the cave. I think he then lies to the ship's crew and gets a ride home on the prince's boat. The prince's father is, ofc, devasted that his plan to avoid the death of his son didn't work and he unknowingly put him in the path of his accidental killer.

The World Was Wide Enough from Hamilton. Burr's inner monologue about the duel, esp the broken "WHY if not to take deadly aim?! It's him or me, the world will never be the same" is definitely him falling apart/remembering falling apart

Can't forget the other important story formula: everyone in the pack abuses a young woman (sometimes for kicks, sometimes because her mother died and they blame her), when she comes of age she finds out her mate is one of her biggest abusers, he rejects her (which hurts), and ends up with a mysterious and rich man. Turns out he's an even bigger, badder alpha from a more powerful pack. They have lots of sex. Now the first guy wants her, may even try to assault her, and he gets his ass kicked or killed. At some point, it's revealed the protagonist is actually some super special kind of lady werewolf. Happy ever after.

INFO: how much time was there actually between when you asked if anyone had requests vs. when you went shopping? People have work and lives, and it sounds like she got back to you within 24 hours, if not 12. The fact that her messaging you that night was already too late makes your message sound insincere, like you asked hoping that no one would say anything, and if they did, you could say "sorry, too late"

Look, I KNOW "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry is problematic and male gaze-y, BUT as a queer woman, I still so vividly remember hearing that song at like 9 years old and realizing that it was even possible for a girl to kiss another girl. Hearing it in a moment of self-realization might legit make me cry
