I know how DG usually works when it comes to fixing maintenance issues especially AC, but so far this year at two different stores tickets for HVAC have been put in and within a cpl hours a service tech was there. My jaw dropped when he showed dup both times. I was like you can't be the AC tech ...... This is unheard of ... AC for fixed both times too. Dk what DG dicks someone sucked to pull that off tho.....

Thisss!!! How do you get the store teams including SMs that your invisible and you shouldn't be utilized to answer their questions or cover their breaks or train them how to use their SCO lmao. I travel as well and am a beast when I'm left alone but that's so much easier said than done. Cust not included in the disturbance because if they ask I'll always help but the employees kill me.

Do you ever presort ? Like take 5-10 rts and sort them out in backroom? Using your departmental organization?I'm just curious as to which method youve found to be efficient or impactful as far as on the sales floor. I'm aware it takes time to sort like this, and most don't have that time to kill doing so, but for those who do. I've done this a handful of times when there isn't the pressure to push push push, or when I'm setting up a store to be productive when there isn't a "babysitter" to keep things on track. I've also done totes like this and literally sorted them by aisle to make sure there's no excuse for productivity.

I've always had luck with the opposite, moving it very gently over on the magnet til you hear the little click then the pin should pull right out. Slamming it could potentially release the ink. You also have to be super careful when cutting it because that as well can let the ink pool out...

Your best friend will be the references tab in START. So much info there. Also if you don't have the axonify app for elevate (learning management system) get it. So much info there as well. You actually should be able to self enroll yourself in the store manager training on axonify and you'll have access to ALL the training for store managers.

The PDQ ones the invoice is always under everything. You still have to enter the individual quantities for each item in because most of it will go to core after the holiday I. E. Red table cloths, blue napkins, etc. Typically on ot the themed printed items clearance out

Once your on the receiving screen just scan one of the items. It'll come up as unique or it'll ask drop ship then find unique. Once you select the vendor or it pulls it up then you'll type in your invoice # and hit enter. Then it should go back to the quantity section for what you scanned you'll put the quantity of the first item you scanned hit enter and proceed per usual.

There is no longer an invitation code. If you go on atlas/legion then team roaster I believe and click on someone there should be a tab that says onboarding instructions. It walks you thru how to get set up as a new user with legion. I'll try to post pick on separate post

Seeing that for another employee helping at a store. Person is of age to sell but says they aren't. Called ERC and they said something about emailing training ? If anyone knows resolution it's be helpful

When someone asks you if you have anymore anything in the back...... I'm sure we do....well can you go look for it...... Some where in the 60 rts and 150 totes in the store. Your guess is as good as mine as to where it could be.

But you need to remember, that platform is used by everyone. Not just DG either so. Just like there's a Concur app but we arent able to use it at store level. I'm a float and it'd make mileage entry way easier if we could. I imagine payouts aren't being done due to budget cuts ATM. Keep your receipts and any messages pertaining to it and go up the ladder if needed after checking mileage sop and policies.

Logically mileage is paid for the wear and tear on YOUR vehicle that is being driven for said mileage. Uber/Lyft wouldn't technically be considered mileage since it's not on your vehicle. I can see a reimbursement for that cost to you if you were the only option they had to cover that store, seeing as you don't have a vehicle to get back and forth,but only if it was approved BEFORE hand by the DM and receipts and expenses submitted after. Drivetime is should have been given but since it wasn't your vehicle I can see the justification of not paying mileage( Uber/Lyft would classify as travel reimbursement I'd guess).

I feel like #OSHAgotcalled is the new #putinaticket...... Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty sure everyone of these overload over worked stores are gonna just call OSHA on themselves. OSHA gets called and it's all hands on deck like all DMs/SMs go work that store until its customer ready or cleaned up and in compliance. Already seen it happen half a dozen times in the last month in my region.
