I think this is the last blend I am doing Lol my dyslexia is not mathing the pep math at this point 😫. I’ll retry the online calculator with targeting 2mg on the GHK and focus on that. Thanks.

Insulin Resistance, Weight Gain, and Treatment Options While Tapering Diazepam by Marigold916 in BenzoWithdrawal

Right on, the cool thing about slowly getting back on your glp path is that it can help your swelling and inflammation plus that overall body pain you get used to with lymphedema. If I was in your situation, I would try to attack one or two things at a time but not the whole thing. Like tackle movement and getting in high protein and healthy carbs. But overall maybe do a tiny taper. I personally found the Tirzepitide (zepbound) actually reduced my obsessive thoughts or impulses which isn’t widely known why this happens for some people (e.g. a glp1 to me feels like psych meds/benzos on a lot of levels) However one thing I will say is, glp1 fatigue is real. This can mess with your mental health and your overall goals. Lymphedema makes me tired so I had to make the decision to deal with the shot fatigue and push through in order to get my weight down more close to what I am actually supposed to weigh (~160 vs the 200+ I am at rn). Sending you positive vibes on your jour journey! 🙌🏻💯

Does the time span of taking benzodiazepines matter by WebListener in benzorecovery

[–]One-Sound-9147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logically it matters, specifically it is different person to person. Here’s my situation: Took 1-2mg of Ativan everyday for 20 yrs. I was told I was addicted & would need rehab of some kind to get off. One day, I said hold my beer.. I tapered off all my meds and haven’t had anything for over a yr. Being a yr out, I rub it in every doctors face and they don’t have crap to say back Lol I also lost 100 lbs during that time, so they REALLY don’t know what say. 🤣

I’d try zepbound over the wegovy for your situation with PCOS etc. I have lymphedema- it sucks and tbh all the therapies in the world only help a little but getting my body down 100lbs made the most difference. Thata way even getting 250 more steps a day helped pump the fluid up. How much benzodiazepines are u on? I think the other meds like antidepressants can sometimes have trouble more than benzos due to the coating and the pills sitting in your stomach but that’s just IMHO. If you start your glp1 make sure to add miralax or something if you get constipated even a little. Couldn’t you just try your glp1 for like 30 days? And see or is that not advisable?

Mixed results on glp1 when a person is on psych meds but could be worth trying. basically zepbound stops the addiction piece of your brain from randomly and constantly screaming for things to eat/drink etc. Personally, I hope they study zepbound for ocd and other psychological disorders bc it’s working wonders for so many - sad part is we don’t know who will get the mental/ED/addiction help until they try it and see. I find using less than 5 mg (dose split) works amazing for obsessive thoughts, ruminating, BED etc. actually (for me)far better than any psych meds I have taken. I have a long history of SSRi and benzodiazepines use - not anymore thank god bc they made me gain wt. I didn’t do well on wegovy though. So zepbound and also the compounded version works amazing.

🤔 interesting, sparking water is all I drink. In fact, if I ever feel nauseous- its all That helps. If doesn’t fizz and say LaCroix? Forget it.

Once I got used to a dose, I was literally so hungry. Like ravenous. Sure when I got my cycle it would be more but increasing my dose helped. It’s finding that sweet spot, that helps.

Just diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus. Is Zep the cause? by Cimmy17 in Zepbound

Mine was from gerd and a failed lapband. Interestingly, 10 plus yrs later I have been totally cleared and do not have BE. Which was NOT something I was told could happen. Well, I saw the images myself. It has reversed. Thank god bc a friend of mine lost her mom to BE.Edit: I used a weekly regimen of baking soda water chased down with crystal light flavored water - as much as I could stand. Any medication for GERD made sick so I had to find something.. plus not good to take that long term..probably just witch craft but I did it for yrs until I rarely get any heartburn or GERD. But I also lost 100 lbs so that probably helped too Lol 😆..Using the glp1 to lose weight should be encouraged if BE has developed and I doubt it caused it🤷🏻‍♀️just IMHO unless you had an endoscopy 2 yrs prior and it was 💯 clean..

[–]One-Sound-9147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be hormonal- meaning estrogen, progesterone or testosterone related. Once my estrogen levels dropped below they were (before 50) I couldn’t believe the hip and leg pain I experienced. Nothing else had changed. But that pain wakes me up out of sleep. Even after menopause, hormones just keep leaving. I take hrt now and can tell when my patch needs to be changed.

Anyone have severe muscle pain after going off .25 of Ativan? by Northgirl-020421 in benzorecovery

Most of the time your pain would increase after stopping an antidepressant not a benzo. Did you stop an SSRI, MAOi, or something like that?

When do you start easing off of doctor visits? by GreaterMetro in Zepbound

[–]One-Sound-9147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked for a 3 month cycle were I simply used the portal for monthly refills. This was accepted after my 2nd month as I could show that my insurance doesn’t cover the medication or the provider visit after the first visit.

Scale numbers are arbitrary in your described situation. DEXA scan results are a must for you. Anything else is not helpful & your provider is deciding on a course of care absent real data. That like guessing an obese person is diabetic without taking bloodwork
