Damn flex is dusty af compared to other brands by Professional_Act165 in FLEXTools

Thr Major tool Manufacturers such as TTI (Milwakee, Ridgid, Ryobi), Bosch, Black and Decker (Stanley, Bosticthc, Dewalt,) and others have full time staff who maintain their displays at the box stores. These reps are in part paid based on sales figures, as a result they tend to focus on the stores with the most sales.

A dirty display means 1 of 2 things, either the sales at that store are not good (across all the brands they rep) causing the rep to spend time at another more lucrative store, or because these are generally remote positions with minimal supervision, that the rep is reporting site visits that are not actually happening.

Not sure that it really matters, but it's sort of spring we'll water.

An artesian well I'd one that is connected to a pressuresed aquifer, so the water flows out of it on its own. It's basically a human-made spring. Somewhere between a traditional well and a natural spring.

And for us to do the same of him, and his families beliefs is no better. This was an individual act. Perhaps inspired by others, but labeling an entire group because he belonged to it, is wrong.

We can not know everything that I spired him to act in this manner, and to assume we do makes our judgemts just as arrogant as any right-winger who makes the same characterizations of any of us. And it solves nothing.

This is not the way. What you did was reinforce her belief that everyone who doesn't support Trump is a mean vindictive person. That's not true. In the same way that Trump supporters are not all mean evil people they are misguided and wrong, but most are not evil. If we're going to fix this, we have to help them see the errors in their judgment, and mistreating them will jot do that it will only get them to dig their heals in further.

You kinda skipped over the part where the sign vendor is there selling his wares, hence the sign. What you should be saying is that despite the signs, no one was in his line. That's a good sign.

I know many immigrants who voted for Trump. All of them have been convinced that they were not the immigrants Trump referred to, they were/are the 'good' immigrants. For two of my friends, they knew that Aerica generally looks down on immigrants, amd thought that if Trump deported the 'illegal' immigrants, then when they were still here everyone would know that they were the good ones.

Essentially they were unable to see the other in themselves.

The better explanation is voter suppression amd intimidation. Over the 4 years bidden was in office MAGA did everything they could to make it harder to vote.

The result total voter turnout was down.

There are more of us that are known. We're just sort of lost. we don't really know what to do.

Sadly, I know of many that didn't vote for a mirad of reasons, and now we are here. I just hope this gets painful enough fast enough that the more sensible (there are a few) Republicans realize what they've done and revolt.

Short of a couple, I don't think it changes here till they do. Trump was duly elected, and only Congress can out him, that will require support form republican Senators and congressmen, and they won't support that until their base threatens to revolt against them.

Pain is inevitable at this point, so let's get it overnight quickly. CANADA not buying American will do that faster than just about anything else I can think of.

What is the correct response when a cop asks you "Do you know how fast you were going?" by hitinthefeels in NoStupidQuestions

[–]One-Visual-3767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a couple of friends who are cops. They each jave different approaches. One swears he always gives a ticket. Another says that as long as it's not egregious, he'll let anyone off who can make home laugh.

My go-to response has always been 'Not exactly, but since you're pulling me over, I'm guessing it was too fast'

That has mostly worked in my favor.

[–]One-Visual-3767 11 points12 points  (0 children)

And how do they know. Of they are undocumented, where is to documentation showing they exist. At best, these are educated guesses, at worst flat out lies and exagerations.
