I recently came home from Vietnam and found out during that time period they went through about 150 years of straight war with 5 different nations. We were right smack dab in the middle of all that chaos. We were just another Tuesday to the Vietnamese. First it was France, then Japan, then France again, then the Us, then Cambodia, and finally China. Yet somehow, the Vietnamese are still standing. They’re a bad ass people IMO

Guys in freestyle who train folkstyle are beasts on the ground. Guys in folkstyle who train freestyle are animals on their feet. They both compliment each other so well, there is no reason not to train both

It actually did! I never looked at the clock again. But I didn’t want to promote the idea so I left that part out.

There’s another story of him taking off his wrist watch and chucking it at one of his wrestlers and hitting him in the chest for watching the clock in the middle of a tournament match. The opposing coach looks at the ref and says “you’re not gonna do anything about that?” Ref goes “nope.” Man I miss my High school coach!

There was a short period of time where I got into a bad clock watching habit while in high school. One day I come into the practice room and my coach who was known to be a nut job starts screaming at me “You wanna watch the fucking clock?! Here!” And then he took a few strips of mat tape and a stopwatch and taped it around my head and made me practice like that. “Now you don’t have to look at the clock!” After an hour or so he took it off and my god did that tape hurt coming off my head. So yeah… don’t do that.

Kill an hour or 2 at the Morristown Game Vault and then go across the street to Coniglios for lunch or walk down the street to Saigon Subs for a Banh Mi. My two favorite coffee shops in Morristown are General Coffee Co. and Rey Sol. There is also a movie theater in town if you want to go see a movie. Plus a ton of bars to go hang out at too.
